Who would want to occupy Europe?... um, The Caliphate..?
Oh, wait. They are already doing that. Never mind.
The Russkies better hurry unless they want to fight ISIS in Berlin and Paris instead of Raqqa.

My guess is that Pooty Poot has other things on his mind other than invading a NATO country.
Wait a minute. Vlad, how about Turkey? Erdogan hates you, and he has ties to ISIS.

Depends on the objectives.
They should be able to make it to the Rhine and Danube in 60 hours. West and south of that would take longer.

Respectfully, I agree with the opposing views, here. Russians don’t do logistics well. They might be able to overrun a few former Soviet Republics, now in NATO; the so called “Near abroad”, but projecting power, and sustaining an invading force is not their forte, and they know it.

Let them have Europe. Good riddance. They’re all Commies anyway.

What are they doing in Syria?

Why shouldn’t the Poles have a buffer zone? That’s the excuse we keep hearing from the FR Borscht Brigade about Russia all the time.

Thanks for your reply. Respectfully, the Syrian engagement, a good forward operation, is not the same thing as a logistic exercise, along the lines of the two Persian Gulf wars, that is what I had in mind, regarding “overrun”.
Glad you gave me the opportunity to clarify my remarks :)

Anybody else remember the annual 96 hour (4 day) ARTEPs based on the Pentagon assumption that if we could fight for 4 days straight we would beat the Soviets? We used to joke that if the Soviets had any brains, they’d hit during hour 97...because were all whacked from lack of sleep.

Speaking as a retired military officer and as someone who knows many folks in the current DoD, allow me to chime in that this article is very, very true.
Out military has been decimated - by budget cuts, Sequestration (that lasts another 7 years - thanks GOP Congress), and Obama's homosexual and feminst assaults.
The "Americans" who voted for our current leadership are traitors. There is no other way to put that.
When this next war happens, we will be in serious danger.

"Putins military might could overrun NATO forces in 60 hours, defense official warns" So what? During the Cold War we attempted to stop the spread of tyrannical communism. Now the "West" is intent on spreading its vile, and equally tyrannical progressive ideology. NATO would be fighting for gay marriage and access to women's bathrooms for transsexuals. Yea Freedom!

Putin is no fool. He realizes that such a move would prompt a nuclear response. And this time, we sit it out. Germany gets to KEEP France!

Согласованный. "Все большевики и их muzzie Cahoots живут с вами как паразиты." У меня есть ощущение, США собирается встретиться Trump продувать червя. Может быть, даже двойная доза антипаразитарной чистки! Интересные времена мы живем.
