A Texas high school valedictorian has revealed she is an illegal immigrant in her graduation speech. Larissa Martinez told classmates at McKinney Boyd High School that she was one of the 11million undocumented citizens living in the United States after she fled her abusive and alcoholic father in Mexico. The 18-year-old, who has been offered a full scholarship to Yale, said she decided against giving her classmates the 'traditional Hallmark version' of the speech and instead opted for the truth. The teenager told the crowd of thousands: 'Immigrants, undocumented or otherwise, are people too'. 'We are here without documentation because the US immigration system is broken and forces many families to live in fear.' She also used the speech to slam Donald Trump's plans to build a wall based on 'hate and prejudice'.

Admission of being here illegally should be sufficient for her to be arrested and immediately deported.

It is a federal crime for a noncitizen to have any interaction, input, or influence in our political process.

They post on Twitter and Facebook.

She’s interpreting her doing very well in school as somehow excusing an illegal status?

Assuming she came here in poverty, who is paying for everything? Does she realize that would be stealing from those of us paying taxes?

Exactly what else does she think we owe her?

Congress should pass a bill to make her an American citizen provided she APOLIGISES. We can use her here as long as she doesn’t major in ethnic studies.

Stealing the opportunities from our citizens. Sad.

I agree, deport her.

I wonder if she will have celebrity status at Yale now?

Infuriating and as arrogant as they come. There is nothing I see in her that will bring any glory to Yale. These institutions are toast and I wish American citizens would boycott them all.

'We are here without documentation because the US immigration system is broken and forces many families to live in fear.'

How nice. She has apparently learned nothing. Our immigration system is just fine. Enforcement is a problem. That is why this little twerp was able to receive the benefits of a citizen, including public education.

Obviously this illegal alien still does not understand reality. First, she should be stripped of her valedictorian status. To be a valedictorian requires more than a grade point average. It requires judgment and honor. She has shown that she has neither. Second, her diploma should be revoked. Our law prohibits profiting from breaking the law. Receiving public education and graduating from High School under false pretenses, claiming to be a U.S. citizen, are profiting from being in this country illegally. And third, she should be deported.

This invasion of illegal aliens is a gift from Obama that just keeps on giving!

“We are here without documentation because the US immigration system is broken”

Another roach that cant control themselves because of someone else.

And what part of it is “broken” that allows many people to obtain it legally, but your stupid ass felt entitled to just sneak in?

"We are here without documentation because the US immigration system is broken and forces many families to live in fear."

That's a non-sequitur or, less flatteringly, a lie. In fact, the whole statement is vaguely and strangely circular. It's like she's trying to combine a whole set of contradictory talking points and slogans.

She is here because she came into the country illegally. She could have fled her abusive father without coming into the USA. She wouldn't need to fear the US immigration system if she weren't here illegally. The fact that she is still here is certainly a sign that the US immigration system is broken, but I'm sure that isn't her point.

public school districts can prosecute someone who is not legally enrolled for “theft of services”

some of them employ private investigators to catch people who send their kids to a school when they live out of the district

here the “theft of services” is blatant and admitted!!

McKinney Boyd is a fine high school in the north Dallas area. Texas taxpayers pay a fortune in property taxes to educate hundreds of thousands of Mexico’s children, thanks to the malicious generosity of the US Supreme Court that forces border states to educate another country’s children. Squatters children can also attend Texas colleges at “In state” rates, while students from neighboring OK and LA have to pay more expensive “out of state” rates, thanks to Rick Perry. This is a burden that border states bear because Democrats want brown votes and Republicans want cheap labor. That’s why Trump should win every border state.
