LGBT pride shirts are now available for all 30 NBA teams. The NBA has done something that the sports world has never seen before. In partnership with the Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network (GLSEN), the league has introduced a new line of apparel that features all 30 team logos in rainbow colors to celebrate the newly designated LGBT Pride Month in June. The shirts are being sold exclusively on Teespring, and all proceeds go to GLSEN.

It is the first time a men’s professional sports league has released official apparel in support of LGBT pride

From "tolerance" to outright advocacy for sodomy.

I hope it ruins the league's business.

You are really seeing the merging of the corporate and social justice lobby this year.

I already ignore basketball completely, what else can I do?

Great. What is not available is a traditional values shirt.

The NBA has long become too politicized, so there hasn’t been a need for me to follow it for many, many years. I haven’t missed anything and have saved a Yuuge amount of time! Time is life. No need to waste it on the NBA.

I’m glad I’m not interested in the least in basketball. As far as I’m concerned, the NBA can stand on its head and keep 100 plates spinning with their feet. That might be a more constructive activity than peddling unwholesome lifestyles.

Me too. But if I were a player I would refuse to wear it.

I think society is missing something. Acceptance of different lifestyles means what it says. Accepting religious Christians, Amish traditional people, Native Americans, hippies in a commune, silly snobs who shop all day, nerds, conservatives, gays, people with bipolar or autism, athletes who train all day, guys who sit on their couch all day, every race and subculture in America.

That is acceptance. PRIDE comes from achieving a society who accepts different lifestyles because we all wish for that ultimate freedom.

Acceptance is not glorifying one of the many lifestyles ABOVE all others.

A national sports team should not go up to my paragraph one and make official shirts to glorify only one of those groups.

Pro sports is nothing more now than a government propaganda center. Why else would they talk about “gun control” on ESPN?

Question: What does LGBT pride have to do with basketball? Time for the black men to stand up.

When does the NBA stop being a major sport? I’m sick of the hypocrisy of millionaires and billionaires exploiting poor minority kids with overpriced endorsed gear. And why the heck are they still playing basketball, indoors, in June?

Did you hear him talk during the LA Clippers fiasco? All signs point to yes to your question!

I’m glad I pretty much never watch the NBA. Nor most of the NFL. These folks are going brazen in the face of God. That does not end well.

Isaiah 3:9 New International Version (NIV)

9 The look on their faces testifies against them;
they parade their sin like Sodom;
they do not hide it.
Woe to them!
They have brought disaster upon themselves.

It says more about the fans than anything else.

I'm no fan of the NBA but, seems to me this just says some millenials in the league marketing office saw an opportunity to sell some shirts. And it's not as if they're going to make them available for some teams and not others.

Obviously, Golden State will sell a lot more of these than Oklahoma City.
