I just talked to a co-worker that is more darker skinned then me about the movie Roots and visiting Africa, and he said in a funny way that if I went there I would be hounded because of light complexion and was glad his great granddaddy got on that boat.

Strange thing is: all Americans were glad our granddaddy got on the boat. Some chose to and some were kicked on. But we’re all glad we’re here. Until Obama got elected, sadly.
