Donald Trump just took the mainstream media to the woodshed.
During a press conference to clear up the confusion around his donations to veterans organizations, Trump went after the mainstream media, but specifically ABC News reporter Tom Llamas.
“I’m not looking for credit,” Trump said of the $5.6 million in donations he has given to various veterans organizations.
“But, what I don’t want is when I raise millions of dollars have people say, like this sleazy guy right over here from ABC,” Trump said pointing Llamas. “He’s a sleaze."
Let Hillary, the NYT and the WAPO suck on that for a while.....

I think this is starting to get some traction. The mainstream media are sleaze. I hope Trump keeps it up and rolls on to a landslide victory in November. Viva Trump!

So this is how Trump looks when he’s pissed off. Definitely didn’t pull any punches on this one about the political reporters. This concerns me, not because he’s wrong - he’s not, but because those reporters have a huge pulpit to slam Trump with. He needs to dial it back a little.
Team Hillary is doing a massive assault on Trump over this... claiming that the media called Trump on his “lies”. Essentially, they’re calling the vets’ groups liars too... since they claim that Trump did in fact give them the money.

I disagree completely. Dialing it back is what made Romney and McCain lose... and made GWB far less effective than he could have been... and brought us Obama. Dialing it back will lead to Hillary having free reign with the media and to control the narrative on everything.
Exposing the lying media is an essential part of making America great again... it must be done, and with full force.

In this situation, it has to be remembered the Media (for the most part) not only protects Hillary Clinton, they work for her by being part of her campaign.
I agree that Trump shouldn’t change a thing and continue to call the Media out.
BTW, the Clinton Interview which CNN has been promoting all day, lasted about 7 minutes and was (SURPRISE!) nothing but softballs.
