You show none of what you ask for. No better than the war criminal, head of the KKK whose picture you post

The Trump insinuation is so outrageous in my view as to release Cruz from any commitment.

Well, isn't that convenient!

As is your (and Cruz's) wont, you're profoundly distorting and embellishing what Trump said.

Parenthetically, I'm pretty sure the whole reason Trump said what he did say (which, of course, isn't what you have mis-characterized) was to trigger a total meltdown from Cruz; and that's exactly what happened.

Ted Cruz is a lawyer. He fully understood the import of the pledge he made, and that there were no exceptions for "outrageous insinuations", ostensible or actual.

So was Cruz just too timid not to take the pledge, or did he simply never intend to honor it in the first place?

I'm absolutely certain that Donald Trump would have honored the pledge if he had lost. And please note that the pledge binds the taker to endorse, not merely support, the nominee.

You, sir, have been routinely guilty of the same mistake which torpedoed the Cruz campaign: gross distortions of Donald Trump's policies, to the point where, when people heard Cruz's mis-characterizations, and compared them to what Donald Trump actually said, and Trump's actual policy positions, Ted Cruz was exposed as a pathological liar himself, which, ironically, is what he hysterically accused Donald Trump of!

Unfortunately for Ted Cruz, thoughtful voters were able to review both the factual and rhetorical record for themselves, and to draw their own conclusions, without propagandist surrogates telling them what to think.

The sad fact is, Ted Cruz went totally Machiavellian several months ago, in addition to throwing in with the GOPe. In doing so, he exposed himself as a naked opportunist who epitomized the "typical politician" who will do or say absolutely anything to win.

And when intellectually honest voters saw that, Ted Cruz's support began to erode steadily, never to recover.

Let's not forget that many, many Trump voters are former supporters of Ted Cruz. Why do you think that is the case? Is it all the boogeyman Donald Trump's fault, or does Ted Cruz, perhaps, bear a smidgen of the responsibility (or even the lion's share) for how voters came to perceive him?

I see that your brief hiatus from FR has not cleared your head as yet, inasmuch as you refuse to face the distinct possibility that Ted Cruz's behavior was far more "duplicitous" than Donald Trump's, by several orders of magnitude. Ted Cruz is responsible for his own performance in this primary campaign.

And please don't forget your own pledge to pull the lever for Trump this November! Unless you'd prefer Hillary, of course.

I honestly do bemoan the fact, however, that your hatred for Donald Trump is so pervasive and blind that it's preventing you from seeing what is actually happening. This is a Revolution, and it's a relatively decent one, at that. All revolutions are imperfect, of course, but this one will do nicely, given the situation in which Americans find themselves at the moment.

And don't forget another thing: for all the acrimony, Donald Trump's and Ted Cruz's policy positions overlap very significantly, with the exception that it is Cruz who has betrayed conservatism in a couple important respects, namely his support for TPA (and TPP, until he "evolved") as well as the Corker Bill.

It's time to get serious, forgive and forget, and help defeat Hillary in November, K?

So vote Trump!

Hey, let’s hear them tell us how they’re going to start the Civil War 2, that’s always good for a laugh.

Russia is right up there with China with state-sponsored theft and sabotage of Western ideas/tech. They were at it since the 50’s because their system sucks so bad that their military was ~15-20 years behind ours and ~70% of their televisions couldn’t pass QA at the factory. It’s no coincidence that the most active and publicly-accessible pirate forums/boards are Russian.

If Trump libeled Daddy Cruz, then why doesn't Ted Cruz, the smartest lawyer since Hillry Clinton hit the political stage, sue Trump?

Hillary is spending MILLIONS of $$$$ on her Internet Troll Army, with “Internet Opinion Engineering” Firms like NextWave, etc.

I can’t imagine why the NYTimes doesn’t mention that.

I was wondering the same thing. Or Ted could just explain his reasons for not honoring a public, signed and witnessed, written pledge. How about it, Senator Cruz?

I invite all to look at the CNN facebook page....it’s loaded with Obama/Clinton trolls. Read it for a couple of days and you’ll be amazed.

This is not the first pledge/oath Ted Cruz has taken and failed to keep. I do not expect a miraculous change of heart out of Ted.

Ted Cruz is a liar and a fraud, and now we know his word means nothing. I am looking forward voting for his primary opponent in 2018.

“People posting in favor of NATO or the West or whatever online are never referred to as such.”

Probably because there are no paid trolls for NATO, no coordinating office for trolls for the West, and, come to think of it, no trolls at all for NATO or the West to begin with.

These attacks on “Troll Gangs” is just an attempt to try to legislate more government control over the Internet. The cure will be much worse than the disease.
