Bill Kristol Announces, ‘There Will Be An Independent Candidate’
Breitbart ^ | 29 May 2016 | Patrick Howley

Neoconservative political operative Bill Kristol announced Sunday that an independent candidate will enter the presidential race to challenge both Donald Trump and the Democratic Party nominee.

Kristol, the editor of The Weekly Standard, has been trying for months to find a third-party challenger since his preferred candidates lost in the Republican primaries to Trump. Now, just weeks after meeting with Mitt Romney to talk about a third-party run, Kristol hinted Sunday that his plot is coming to fruition.

Thanks to self serving scum like Kristol millions of Trump voters are casting their last ever votes for GOPe candidates. If Romney and Bush prefer Obama to Trump then why should Trumpers ever vote for a Romney/Bush again?

Kristol is looking for a Clinton win. What a jerk.

Kristol’s plan isn’t a Ross Perot type 3rd party plan.
His idea is to run this candidate in only a few states, work only those states hard, and get just enough delegates to keep Trump and Clinton from getting enough electoral votes to win.

Election would then go to House.... Paul Ryan and congress would then pick me he President.

Sorry to be crude but that’s his wet dream. Not going to happen. The Libertarian Johnson/Weld Koch funded bid sounds totally plausible. The never Trumpers are exactly that. They are just fine with the Butcher of Benghazi in the White House. How principled and conservative of them.

Good point! If Crystal puts up a third party candidate, Bernie will see a chance to get in as well. A four man race would give him a shot.

They just showed a pic of this “Candidate” on twitter..I think I saw that same guy in one of the Harry Potter movies LOL. really this is a non factor..every election cycle there are always going to be people on BOTH sides who hate the candidate who is running and vote for no one(or someone else) I saw it in 2008, the PUMAS, they hated Obama, they thought Hillary Clinton got screwed so they stayed home..did they make a difference, absolutely NOT..Obama didnt need them..this “Candidate” will get 1 maybe 2 percent of the vote and at the end of the day it will make ZERO difference..let the baby have their bottle, they want to be douche bags, let them be whiny crybaby douche bags

What mechanism exists that the GOP could use to prevent some other party from running a candidate ? Assuming they wanted to. Remember that their support for Trump is strictly to avoid losing their base of supporters. If they can throw this to Clinton without it being obvious and while not losing the House and Senate, they’ll do that.

It must not be forgotten that Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama left, not four, but some forty Americans to die in Benghazi. It was only through the heroism of Tyrone Woods and Glen Doherty, acting in contradiction of direct orders to stand down and at the cost of their own lives, that most of those forty returned home alive.

Again, Hillary Clinton was comfortable condemning forty Americans to ugly death at the hands of radical Muslims and lying about it afterwards while holding the hands of the murdered heroes' relatives.

“Paul Ryan and congress would then pick me he President.”

That does appear to be the plan. and the existing house would vote.

But there is always the unintended consequences law.
1 Would reps vote the way they are supposed to ?
2 Would the citizens leave the rep party in droves ?
3 Would the supreme court nullify the election based on 1 man 1 vote? ( I know what the Constitution says. Does that matter anymore?)

BS!!!
Neocon poster-boy may say that is his plan, but that is NOT his plan. Even he is not that stupid. His plan is to throw the purple states to hitlery.

Isn’t it too late for a 3rd Party/Independent candidate to get on the ballot in quite a few states?

Nope, that is the CYA cover plan. The progressives and careerist GOP plantation conservatives in the GOPe are just fine with the Butcher of Benghazi as POTUS because that will keep the gravy train making them rich rolling.

All of his predicted choices are wasting their time.

Yes!!! I completely agree! The irony is incredible, isn’t it?

The beautiful thing about this campaign is that it really is forcing everyone to put their cards on the table and show their true colors.

The shills and pretenders are really being shown for who they truly are. I would really love to know where Medved comes down on this 3rd Party Republican idea. I can’t stand to listen to the guy anymore, but he’s been making fun of Libertarians for years and saying that anyone who votes for a 3rd party is just throwing away their vote. I wouldn’t be at all surprised to find out that, despite the hypocrisy, Medved is on board with this Kristol/Romney lunacy. If he is, his previous support for McCain and Romney, and all his staunchly held positions, have nothing to do with the betterment of the country, but rather, are being put forth on behalf of some anti-American agenda.

Sad, but Kristol’s reputation has sunk so low I don’t think he will ever recover. By Kristol, you are no longer relevant.
