He’s a big time cyclist (bike-weenie) as well. As Governor here (New Mexico), he announced that he was going to be bicycling across the state so that he could meet the people of New Mexico. I think it was right before or during his campaign for re-election. Anyway, I was driving the 35 miles to town (Silver City) to pick up some supplies. It’s a remote 2 lane highway, 60mph speed limit the whole way. I was on a stretch of straight away and could see a couple state troopers way up ahead with their flashing lights coming towards me, but they were going slow. As I came closer to them, I could see three bicyclists in between the two troopers. It’s not uncommon at all to see bicyclists on this highway, as it has a yearly bike race called the Tour de Gila on it, so I didn’t think much of the cyclists, but the two troopers was odd. But here’s the deal, as I came up to them, the lead trooper came fully into my oncoming lane like he was playing chicken with me!!! He literally ran me off the road, and I could see him shouting and pointing his finger at me!!! Evidently all oncoming traffic (what little there is) was supposed to get off the highway as Big Gary Johnson rode by on his bicycle!!!! I’m certain it was him because on the following day people told me Gary had been in Silver City on his Bicycle the prior morning.
That’s my experience with Gary Johnson, and it makes me angry again just thinking about it! Run off the road so he could pass on his bicycle. F***him!!!
