Clinton's ace in the hole: Obama
The Hill ^ | May 29, 2016 | Niall Stanage

Hillary Clinton will have a not-so-secret weapon in her quest for the White House: President Obama.

Obama's approval ratings have been marching upward since the start of the year.

He retains immense popularity with the Democratic base, including vital groups such as young people, with whom Clinton has struggled. And experts also say that there is no one better positioned to unify the party behind the former secretary of State as her long and sometimes bitter struggle with primary rival Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) draws to a close.

If Obama could run for a third-term, "he'd be reelected in a walk," said New York-based Democratic strategist Jonathan Rosen. "He can play a huge role in bringing the Democratic base and independents, together to unite behind her candidacy."

“If Obama could run for a third-term, “he’d be reelected in a walk,”
said New York-based Democratic strategist Jonathan Rosen.

Looks like the Demo-bots got their orders. This gem is
straight out of " Pumping Obama's Legacy Talking Points."

(Let's assume Rosen managed to utter that w/ a straight face.)

Same talk when WJC was leaving office... “Oh, if only...” It’s enough to make you think that ‘democrats’ don’t believe in democracy, and would rather have an unelected “monarch for life”.

“millennial dumb-sh-”. I like to refer to them as ungrateful snots who wouldn’t no hard times if it smacked them up side the head.

If Barak Hussein were not getting “his cut” the clintons would be in prison already. It would be nice to think he will join them there after January.

The Dems decide what to like by what is being decreed by their General Secretary president.

Obama has NO political coattails.

He is the President who lost the House in 2010 and the Senate in 2014.

The notion he’s an ace in the hole for Hillary is laughable.

Obama’s personal popularity isn’t transferable to any one else.

He’ll assure her of the Dem’s base racist voters.
The media’s blatant pandering to him won’t help her though.

Against anyone but Trump. Trump already has him on his heels (and many others) rattled.

Scarborough: ‘Hatred,’ ‘Animosity,’ ‘Rage’ Between Clintons and Obamas

BY: Washington Free Beacon Staff
August 13, 2014 10:30 am

Morning Joe host Joe Scarborough remarked Wednesday on the “animosity” between the Clintons and the Obamas: “People forget how much hatred, how much animosity, how much rage there was between these two families,” he said, harking back to the 2008 presidential campaign.

Although Clinton and Obama worked together in the White House for a period of time, as Clinton gears up for a likely 2016 campaign, she has returned to her old Obama-bashing ways, making headlines for criticizing Obama’s foreign policy.

“The bitterness runs deep. It looks like it’s spilling out,” Scarborough said, recalling that, in their campaign days, the Obama camp once suggested that the Clintons were racist.

“Certainly bitterness, a lot of acrimony in that campaign,” agreed Bloomberg‘s John Heilemann.

Heilemann added his own memories of Obama-Clinton fights, including Clinton endeavoring to paint Obama as a drug dealer.

“A lot of the old enmities on both sides are very quickly bubbling to the surface,” said Heilemann.

File this under wishful thinking. Obama is walking a political tightrope of his own in this cycle. He can't overtly endorse or campaign for Hillary because of the ongoing FBI investigation. That's a blessing in disguise because it provides him with a convenient excuse for remaining "above the fray" without having to appear stiffly by the side of someone he loathes and who loathes him in return.

Obama clearly wanted Biden to run and may yet get his wish, but it's obvious Hillary holds powerful leverage over them both, which is why they've been sidelined so far.

As far as a potential Obama 3rd term, the same talk was made in 2000, and with far more credibility, for Bill Clinton. We can be thankful for the 22nd amendment that ensures that voter mistakes have a built-in expiration date.

I'm glad these people are so delusional. By all means, bring out Obama... I can't wait to hear Trump's counter-attacks on Obama!

Perhaps. But voters typically get all nostalgic about an outgoing president — remembering the good parts while getting amnesia about the bad. If Obama had to actually defend his crap while running for a third term it would likely be different.

My take as well.
