With Americans transfixed by election melodrama, especially on the Republican side, this would be a great time to pause for just a few minutes and seriously consider – possibly for the first time – this absolutely bizarre thing we call “the left.”
The left, righteously posing as protectors of women, blacks, gays, students, immigrants, the poor and other societal “victims” (while demonizing conservatives and Christians as selfish, racist, anti-science, anti-woman, anti-immigrant and homophobic), in reality is the primary cause of the vast majority of the misery, suffering and injustice it claims to oppose.
I document this stunning cause-and-effect relationship definitively in “The Snapping of the American Mind,” and since the book’s publication in October, the evidence just continues to pour in, confirming my thesis that not only is the left mad, but it is literally driving tens of millions of Americans right over the edge as well. As Rush Limbaugh put it recently, “… liberalism is driving people insane. It’s literally driving them insane.”
But this should not in any way surprise us. Because if we delve just a little deeper into the subject, we’ll see that the left’s efforts at “fundamental transformation” couldn’t possibly have any other effect on America than to deceive, corrupt, enslave and break millions of human beings – body, mind and soul. And that is because the political and cultural left – I’m talking now about people animated by the worldview, policies, strategies and deepest motivations of people like Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton – simply cannot operate without violating all of the Ten Commandments.
You may never have thought of it that way before. So let’s take a close look:

He wrote this piece 9 weeks ago, and I was compelled to read it. His points are spot on. Whatever we call the hard core left (progressive, liberal, socialist, communist, Marxist) - there is little doubt they are all driven by the same evil desire: rebel against the one true God. The God of Abraham. The Judeo-Christian God.
As it was in the days of Noah, it is today. All out rebellion against God. EVERYTHING the left does is defiance towards the God that made them and sustains them with each breath they take.
Syposis of how the left violates the 10 Commandments, and revels in their wickedness:
The Ten Commandments (Exodus 20:1-17):
1. Thou Shalt Have No Gods Before Me.
Through Pluralism they deny who God is, and Government is their god - among many other false gods. Including making themselves "gods."
2. Thou Shalt Not Make Graven Images.
Idolaltry. Liberalism is built on it. Animal worship, pantheism, environmentalism, the idols of “reproductive freedom,” “sexual liberation and equality,” worshipping the creation instead of the Creator.
3. Thou Shalt Not Take the Lord’s Name in Vain.
This is not so much a warning against profanity as it is a warning to not use God's name for evil purposes. The left commits this sin every single day. Moreover, they mock God, Christ, and those who believe in Him. They also persecute Jews and Christians.
4. Remember to Keep Holy the Sabbath.
The left’s influence on American culture, government and law has profoundly changed what was once a reverent, Judeo-Christian culture into a secular-left atheistic one today
5. Honor Thy Father and Thy Mother.
The destruction of the family is a foundation of the evil left. The two parent family with a mom and a dad has been under siege for decades by the left. Democrats diminishe parental rights and encourage children to rebel against the antiquated conventions held by parents. It denies that children even need a mother and father and bristles at the “heteronormative” lack of “gender neutrality” inherent within the very words “mother and father.”
6. Thou Shalt Not Kill.
Abortion, euthanasia, “pro-choice,” “reproductive rights,” “death with dignity.” Also, 100-200 million people slaughtered or starved during the 20th century as a direct result of the imposition of the far left’s insane totalitarian-utopian system.
7. Thou Shalt Not Commit Adultery.
Were this one commandment observed, the ever-metastasizing “sexual revolution” of the 1960s, brought to us entirely by the left, would disappear – and along with it the Pandora’s Box of tragedies and disasters unleashed by normalizing and glorifying extramarital sex. We’re talking about over a million abortions each and every year; astronomical levels of out-of-wedlock births and a corresponding epidemic of family breakdown, divorce and fatherlessness, with all the terrible societal ills that brings; a staggering 110 million Americans with sexually transmitted diseases; and today’s ever-more-bizarre LGBT movement, including the rapid upsurge in lost souls trying in vain to morph into the opposite sex.
8. Thou Shalt Not Steal.
Class warfare. Unfair taxation. Government seizure of private property. "Wealth redistribution" is Obama's most imporatant goal.
9. Thou Shalt Not Bear False Witness.
The ends justify the means. Bearing false witness about detractors of liberalism is what they do. The left and its political fortress, the Democratic Party, never ceases to violate the Ninth Commandment, “Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbor.” Indeed, the left’s No. 1 battlefield tactic for occupying new ground is its nonstop defaming, demonizing, suing and lying about conservatives, Christians and others who oppose its blindly destructive advances.
10. Thou Shalt Not Covet.
Winston Churchill’s called Socialism "the gospel of envy" and his words encapsulate two profound truths: One, socialism is a religion to its adherents, and two, it appeals to and institutionalizes one of the darkest parts of human nature – envy. In thus glorifying and ennobling covetousness, socialism not only violates, but utterly rejects, the Tenth Commandment: “Thou shalt not covet.”

I’ve thought for years that they are the party of the 7 deadly sins.
Soth, gluttony (think obesity epidemic fueled by EBT)
Envy, Greed (the rich got rich by stealing from you, we’re going to make them pay)
Wrath - (spewing or dripping disdain, name-calling, etc.)
Lust - (the sexualization of just about everything, and abortion to keep it “safe”)
Pride - their know-it-all and holier-than-thou attitudes.
Paul lamented he did that which he would not do and did not that he would do - he sinned despite having met the risen Christ and being given a huge role in carrying the Word.
I'm not saying the Left isn't more prone to get off on it, just that it's about hypocritical to ignore "our side" while looking down our holy noses at others.
That said, I get off quoting Jesus to some of my liberal acquaintances as He tells them that He will put the goats on the left and the sheep on the right and tell the goats that He knew them not.....I tell them where we got the Left and Right wing Parties from.....
I remember Rush Limbaugh, a long time ago, saying that the left hates the Ten Commandments because it is a list of everything they are doing wrong.

I was listening to a Liberal talk show yesterday, just to get their latest bizarre input, and there was a discussion about abortion. The speakers agreed that abortion was akin to having your appendix out, and deserving of no more consideration. They trashed God, and the commandments. Unbelievable. I can’t imagine a child growing up in a world like this without the input of God’s grace. No wonder there are so many suicides, particularly in the military community. The rise in those seems to have coincided with the banning of God from the military community as it functions day-to-day.

We live in dire times. But, with Christ, it’s never too late to turn the tide.
I thing you miss the point. Yes, we all sin. Liberalism enshrines sin, it is based on sin. Envy, jealousy, theft. force are the very essence of statism. If you are a statist, of any strip, then you put the state in the place of God. It is on thing to be a sinner. It is another to brazenly build your life on sin.
I wonder what it is about the minds of leftists that they get so much pleasure out of opposing the Ten Commandments and the Bill of Rights (first ten amendments). It’s like they are stuck in that oppositional middle school mindset and never grew up.
A recent leaflet by the National Traditionalist Caucus points out that contrary to the view that gay marriage expands the definition of marriage, it actually restricts it, because it changes to a selfish human contract what was previously a greater concept: a vow before God.
Modern day political campaigns constantly cater to ‘the seven deadly sins’ with the promises that they never intend to fulfill.
It’s one thing to sin; another to live in sin. The left worships evil; they live in it, quote it every chance they get and are determined to bring down America. We aren’t far away but there is a remnant; the remnant may sin but does not live in sin.

Now we have the LGBT crowd and god-hating leadership trying to tear down the family in every way.
Excellent. It is just not an astounding coincidence, about the suicides going up as the banning of God in the military has gone up. Our military guys and gals really need our prayers and support.
Recently in an old movie (The Punisher), just when the main guy had completed doing away with the truly evil guys, he seriously contemplated suicide. That is when a strong memory of his dear departed wife came to him, encouraged him, and saved his life. We never know who around us is suffering deeply, needs God so badly, and needs our good memories and support.

That is something I have been thinking about recently, after reading a book about the abandoned wife and children of the poet Lord Byron.
He was a person entirely devoted to vice, wreaking havoc on the lives of all around him, leading many to destruction. However, both in his lifetime and since, biographers have brushed this off with, "Well, his wife wasn't perfect, either."
There is a category difference between a person who makes mistakes (errors in judgment, honestly believes some things that turn out to be wrong); and a person who sins, as everyone including the greatest saints does; and a person who, as you so well put it, "brazenly builds your life on sin."
We seem to have lost this distinction in our drive for moral equivalency, "Well, everyone makes mistakes ...," "Nobody's perfect," etc.
