Mark Levin still has serious problems with Donald Trump, and today he pointed to something odd Trump’s been doing recently that could be a turn-off for conservatives.
Trump has been throwing compliments Bernie Sanders‘ way recently, saying he has some good ideas and the Democrats are being unfair to him and he should consider going third party, while at a rally yesterday Trump went back to trashing “Lyin’ Ted” Cruz.
And that really pissed off Levin, who wondered, “Does he talk about Bernie Sanders this way? He treats Bernie Sanders with an odd respect.”
He mocked the way Trump fans pivoted from praising him for agreeing to a debate with Sanders to praising him for deciding against it.

Why is loser Cruz still “trashing” Trump?
Also, thanks to each of you for answering my question.
I don’t Levin is all that brilliant or original. If one were to read Ayn Rand’s and Nathaniel Branden’s essays in Capitalism: The Unknown Ideal written in in 40’s through the 60’s almost all the ideas and exact terminology Levin uses about statism and collectivism and much of his analysis is there plainly stated. In the final weeks before Cruz bowed out Levin was indistinguishable from Medved. I clearly heard Levin pushing total amnesty and he is also in favor of TTP and globalist sovereignty destroying ‘trade’ deals. If those are ideologically purist conservative stances then it is high time for a radical restructuring and redefining of what ideological conservative values are. I do believe the Republicans and conservatives have slowly redefined what they portray a conservative is and putting American culture and sovereignty and the Constitution in it’s rightful preeminent position is now hated nationalism and populism to people like Levin and most people involved professionally in politics.
Uh, Trump has NYC values and little comprehension of The Constitution?

When is Cruz going to endorse Trump?
Agree but remember Levin girl friend Son works for Cruz. Levin, Beck, Hewitt and Rush has trashed Trump for long time. And Cruz Pac gave talk radio 8M. might have something to do with all of this as well. So we now know they can and or bought and paid for all of them.
Levin (my usual favorite radio talk host by far) has been absolutely an insufferable shill (and totally hypocritical given Mark’s “constitutional lawyer” background) about Sen Cruz. His program went from (usually) highly entertaining and informative (imho) to disgusting (and boring as Hell). (And I thought I liked a great deal about Cruz ... and I never got on the Trump Train, too liberal for what I thought we needed.) At any event, I turned Levin off, just couldn’t stand listening to what he was doing....
When Mr. Trump became the clear winner, I turned Levin back on ... figuring he would have clearned up his act. Unfortunately, Mark is still attacking Trump. Makes no sense unless Mark’s paid off or just wants to help push Hillary into our WH, or?

Honestly, Levin has so sold himself on the idea Trump is evil, that he can’t think strategically.
He and Rush are prime examples of folks who can’t think rationally when it comes to Trump and the political dynamics swirling around him.
Perhaps these folks will regain some perspective in time, but for now they are useless to Conservatives.
I have respected both men over the years. I hate to see this, but none the less it’s my take on them at this time.
With regard to Sanders, Trump isn’t cozying up to him. He is using Sanders as a vehicle to gaining at least some of his supporters.
Levin couldn’t figure this out? That’s just odd.

Because Rafael refuses to get behind the nominee and help defeat Hillary.
Rafael says that Trump is trying to change the GOP platform on abortion. All Trump suggested is that there should be a rape/incest exception to abortion on the platform. Nevermind that the same GOP has ignored its own position on abortion since Roe v Wade.
Cruz is out there trying to rally the evangelicals against Trump at the convention. May I remind Rafael that he got his Canadian-Cuban @ss handed to him in the South by Trump?
By the way on Sanders, Levin is a total idiot and this is precisely why I stopped listening to him and stopped participating on the official Levin thread.
Trump probably has reason to believe that Cruz is a key player with Mitten’s.
If The Donald can snag 20-30% of Sanders supporters he would have a pretty good army of pavement troops.

It's been said by others, and also by me directly to him, that Trump is a nationalist and a populist.
Mark managed to take out something negative about that. That shows that he is 100% globalist/elitist establishment.
To consider nationalism a sin, one must be a globalist. To consider populism a sin, one must be an elitist.
He's gone over to the Dark Side. Anyone who continues to listen to him, listens to the ravings of an unhinged establishmentarian.
