What point are you trying to make? You can't change people from being ANYTHING - drug addicts, burglars, rapists, etc. - unless they WANT to change. Anyway, I don't accept your presuppositional use of "gay" to mean anything meaningful in an intelligent discussion. It is purely a political term which means very little in the real world. There are vast number of types, causes and degrees of "same-sex attraction," but that's not "gay."

If "going in the closet" means getting out of our faces completely, then I wholeheartedly thing they should be FORCED into the closet. So do many millions of other Americans. The "I don't care what gays do" attitude is what started this horrible situation in the first place.
As long as society is safeguarded against gay depredation on kids (which heteros also do) - let the fags be.
