“ifinnegan” sounds Irish.

Are you a teetotaler when it comes to sense of humor?

Yes and yes.

Harmpf.

(My name in real life is not Finnegan, but it is just as Irish as Finnegan. But II am a typical American mutt with probably more German than anything, but it is impossible to know).

I’d love to see it, but it looks like Trump was just talking out of his you-know-what.

Maybe they'll invite your guy, what's his name again? There'd be big money in that!

I really hope this occurs. What a stick in Clinton’s eye.

Exactamente.

Nothing else matters now except helping Trump beat the progressive liberal, Marxist, statists in the demoCRAP party. Nothing. Giving them another bite at the sandwich of destroying our country, is not an option.

Everybody who is a Republican, from the moderate middle social conservatives to the far-right evangelical Christian conservatives and anyone who supported another candidate in the primaries and everyone in between, needs to lick their wounds, salve those egos and start pushing the Trump wagon in the same direction....to run over Hillary in the fall.

Unless we pull together and support our own nominee, we risk coming up short. Too much is at risk for failure.

Maybe bernie can get a loan through his wife, the president of Burlington cCollege which she bankrupted through financial mismanagement. It closes its doors forever this semester.

Trump needs to increase his voter base. Playing stupid games with Bernie ain’t gonna cut it. He’s got the Reality TV voters locked in time to move on.

Sanders doesn’t have $10M.

I'm sure Trump didn't expect Bernie to put it up. He expected the network that carried it, and would benefit from the viewership, to ante up, and he would give it to charity. I don't see how Bernie couldn't go along with this.

But, I've seen other posts saying this is all talk, no show.

you will be the one hating Trump for selling out and you’ll be on to a new political savior

Nope. This is the last attempt for me and many like me. If Trump fails us, we will have lost all faith in the electoral process seeing as how the ballot box will have failed America, and we will move to the next box to solve America's ills.

If Trump gets elected and turns his back on us, it will tear this Country apart. If Hitlery or the Bern gets elected, it will tear this Country apart. Get over yourself and realize this is our last great shot. If it don't work out, we start over, or die trying.

it looks like Trump was just talking out of his you-know-what.

It appears smarter things come out of Trumps 'you-know-what' than out of your mouth.

Can hardly wait until 2017 when he faces Putin, Khomeni, Kim Jung-un, and others.

Reminds me of the checkmate move Ronald Reagan made with the announcement of the "Star Wars" SDI missle defense program.

Actually Trump is baiting FOX News. Fox would easily pull 20 million on that debate.

Half to charity seems like a fair deal.

Trump has single handedly increased FOX ratings for about 6 months now.

Have the Veterans been given what was promised at the Charity rally a while back? I think I saw a report that they were still waiting. Trump should make sure this is resolved, before any talk of another “charity” event is scheduled. I don’t want to give any opposing forces any ammunition. Go Trump.

“Sanders’ July 2015 personal filing lists assets valued at between $194,026 and $741,000 in his wife Jane Sanders’ name — with the majority of these assets held in investment funds. The filing also lists credit card debt between $25,002 and $65,000.

The personal asset disclosure forms do not list properties held by Bernie and Jane Sanders, which include a home in the Washington D.C. neighborhood of Capitol Hill where the median home price is roughly $726,000 and a home in Vermont that realtor.com values at approximately $320,000.

The campaign asset disclosure does not include the Sanders household’s 2015 after tax income — which would have been in the neighborhood of $180,000 assuming it were similar to the family’s tax filing in 2014.

Adding the estimated values of the Sanders family’s homes in Vermont and Washington D.C. to the median value of the asset estimate listed in his campaign personal asset filing and an after-tax estimate of the Sanders household’s 2015 income suggests that Bernie and Jane Sanders hold assets valued at roughly $1.7 million. Subtracting the median of the candidate’s listed credit card debt range suggests that the couple holds somewhere in the neighborhood of $1.65 million in assets, assuming both houses are owned outright.—The Motley Fool

I don’t think anything is ever the last shot.

I don’t think we should ever put too much faith in any politician.

Ever.

I think there is a good chance positive things will happen in a Trump administration.

But the price is eternal vigilance and no politician is ever a savior.
