It just unfolded on Jimmy Kimmel. Kimmel passed along Bernie’s challenge and Trump accepted it.
The ratings would be EPIC. I would expect both men to be charitable. And Hillary to be DESTROYED!
Bernie had already agreed to a Fox debate but Hillary refused.
Ailes and Murdock can pony up a Million or so for the charitable contribution.
An hour or two of Bernie and Trump piling on Hillary!

It will definitely be Bernie and the moderators teaming up against Trump, so it is very risky from that perspective.
As others have said though, what fun!
It may actually pay off for Trump if he can convince some Bernie supporters to vote for him, if Hillary is the nominee.

A plain old regular "debate" ( which in today's terms is not a debate at all ) is worthless. One on Venezuela would be fantastic and show just how bad SOCIALISM/MARXISM really is and how idiotic Bernie is.
LOL this is gonna be AWESOME Kimmel hasn’t come on yet here in SoCal so I will have to see if Trump was being serious or just joking but if he was serious HOLY COW can you imagine..because Sanders already said he doesn’t want this election to be between “The lesser of two evils”(Well of course he doesnt like Trump since Trump is a Republican but this doesn’t bode well for Crooked Hillary) its gonna be 2 hours of Clinton bashing its gonna be GREAT oh and if Fox were smart they better jump on this Ailes would be a fool to not do this

One way or the other, Trump has to hold his own and win the presidency regardless of who his opponent is.

He’ll have to avoid antagonizing Bernie supporters, that’s a tough constraint to operate under. And Bernie has nothing to lose- just ‘taking on’ Trump is enough. He won’t be after Hillary at all- just Trump.
He ‘ll be the darling of the Dem Party just for showing up.
Heck, Hillary might just want to join in for a 2 (plus the moderators) on 1 fight!
If Trump were to negotiate, it would be a good goal to achieve.
