Anyway, I was amazed that a f*****g former Press Secretary would be able to afford a Five Million Dollar house.
ML/NJ
We will NEVER be rid of them!!
I hear that Riyadh is nice in the spring.
If I wasn’t a cynic, I’d ask how someone can afford a $5 million mansion after an entire career in government jobs.
Collectivism and “each according to his need” is for thee and not for me....
Whatever happened to the nice house in Chicago that Tony Rezko bought them?
It’s a real commentary on the public trough that hacks like Lockhart and the Clintons (and, let’s face it, GOP hacks like Denny Hastert) all seem to end up gazillionaires after a few years in powerful D.C. positions.
...there goes the neighborhood.
I guess Tony Rezco needs another favor (looks like it’ll be a bigger one this time).
So, he’ll still be close to the UN building...
Well it is only a hop skip and a jump over to the islamic center from there.
Cotton spoke out w/ radio host Hugh Hewitt, after Hewitt played a clip of White House press secretary Josh Earnest rejecting Cotton's arguments about the Iran deal.
"And that chump may think that subsidizing Iran's nuclear program with millions of tax dollars is a laughing matter. I don't think it's that funny. And if he or anyone else over there had ever been man enough to put on the uniform and pick up a rifle, and have to lead men in dodging Iranian-made bombs, they might not be laughing, either," the freshman senator added. If Cotton wants to be really useful, he should demand to see the solicitation letters Boobamba is sending out----raising funds on his Iran deal for his two foundations and his post-prez billion-dollar Chicago library.
Cotton should check whether Boobo's got lucrative speaking engagements lined up WRT the Iran deal, as well. And whether Boobo's got insider business deals lined up....as well a million dollar consultancies.
Woodrow Wilson, sure, but he didn't last very long and was basically a vegetable by that time.
John Quincy Adams came back as a congressman, Andrew Johnson as a senator and Taft as chief justice, but most presidents went back to where they came from.
This is Obama saying he's not from anywhere he could go back to, and he's going to stay around and get in the way for as long as he can.
Bad strategy, because ex-presidents become more popular when they leave the limelight, but I guess he can't leave it.
PS: That Taft thing is illuminating. Maybe Obama expects to end up on the Supreme Court.
Looks rather dreary to me.
What’s the carbon footprint of an 8,000 sq ft home?
I like the exterior. I think the interior décor sucks.
I would never live in a house that had been thoroughly photographed and the video available on the internet...and nobody’s mad at me!
Aesthetically, now: way too much white paint, not enough windows. Is that white carpeting in the media room?? Exterior style doesn’t correspond to interior.
Will just become another D.C. Doodah.
IN YOUR FACE, AMERICA!!
Which is Bill Ayers’ room? He’ll need one if he going to write Bambi’s White Hut memoirs for him.
