What did dirty rugs ever do to deserve the comparison. I'm sure you are familiar with the phrase "lying like a rug." When this campaign is over, the phrase will change to "lying like a Clinton."

Only the fact that both get severely beaten. Only the rug is better after that beating however and can still be useful.
