Glenn Beck fired back today at conservatives who criticized his full-throated defense of Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg. The radio talker dismissed his critics as “progressives on the right” and argued that Facebook skews left simply because more leftwingers use social media. Last week, Beck and 16 other conservatives met with Zuckerberg at a damage control meeting the tech billionaire called following reports from several Facebook whistleblowers that the site’s news curators actively suppress conservative stories in their “trending” news section while simultaneously boosting the signal of leftwing causes like Black Lives Matter.

When have conservatives stepped up and created alternatives to Facebook and Google?
Conservatives have always been slow to embrace new technology. Instead, we sit around and gripe about it rather than doing what's in our DNA and competing. The Left owns it. It's not leftists' fault that they utilized and profited off the web.
Even the Huffington Post. They found a way to "newspaperize" the web and replace the dead-tree version of it. Their arts, culture, and food features I actually read.

Daily Caller editor-in-chief and Fox News contributor Tucker Carlson is not happy with how Glenn Beck acted at the Facebook meeting for conservatives this week.
In an interview, Carlson blasted the radio and television host, saying he was sucking up to Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg.
“I went to that meeting expecting Beck to cry, rend his garments while quoting James Madison, but that’s not at all what happened. He began the most extended assiduous suck-up I think I’ve ever seen a grown man commit. He acted like he was auditioning to be Mark Zuckerberg’s manservant — it was awe-inspiring,’ Carlson said. “I don’t know what his agenda is; it’s either he’s looking to put his tanking Web properties up for sale or he just can’t help himself. There’s a billionaire there, so he sniffs the throne.”

I remember when Karl Rove was a hero here too.
Rubio’s involvement with Schumer was advancing the agenda he campaigned to promote (in Spanish language speeches to groups including La Raza) from the very beginning of his Senate run.
Those speeches wound up on YouTube and we’re debated on many threads at the time.
The only Freepers who didn’t know Rubio was an open borders amnesty shill were those who outright refused to believe in spite of Rubio’s own words.
