Sounds like drugs and illegal aliens are a source of income for a lot of these indians.

Sounds like they don’t like Federal agents on their lands any more than my family does.

Does your family allow the Mexican Cartel through its land?

Not much else going on there, a large rez just west of Tucson. Very convenient to drug markets and highways north. Probably a major artery for the meth trade.
To: MeganC
Does your family actually work for the cartels?

No one likes the Border Patrol, me included, but this is ridiculous.
The Border Patrol violates the 4th amendment on it’s face. Those internal checkpoints are absolutely illegal and immoral.

sounds like the Akwesasne Reservation, which straddles the US-Canada border at Cornwall.
Border officials are also reported to have confiscated cultural and religious items,

They do. They are mostly smugglers themselves and have stopping places for the drug and human smugglers on reservation territory.
Border Patrol can and does patrol on the reservation. No signs and closed gates can stop them. . .and they are not stopped.
Regarding the reservation being split. . .these drunk and druggie indians are not prohibited from traveling freely on both sides of the fence, AND they can cross the fence easily as they have gates on the fence that they can open and close as they wander unimpeded back and forth between meh-he-co and the US.

They are actively supporting the drug cartels and human smugglers.
Not exactly law abiding citizens.
Not. Even. Close.

I say we take off and nuke the whole site from orbit. It’s the only way to be sure.
OK, that was a different kind of aliens they were dealing with, but the concept could still work.

A little tricky but not quite as clean as you think since Indians are citizens, too and are subject to our laws.
It's complicated.
To: Hulka
At some point the merchandise and people has to cross their fences too, and can be caught there. I do not understand the fuss, unless they have a Tardis in the middle of the reservation.
