W E B Dubois is someone I need to read more of. I suspect that he might have seen the possibility of the grievance industry that Booker T Washington foresaw.

W E B DuBois was a Communist/Marxist and established the NAACP. “Seeing the possibility of the grievance industry” pretty much distills his life to its essence, i.e. a proto-Jackson/Sharpton.

Dubois was the initiator of the grievance industry!

He disliked Booker T. Washington with a passion. Washington said "cast down your bucket where you stand." Dubois said "We claim for ourselves every single right that belongs to a freeborn American, political, civil and social; and until we get these rights we will never cease to protest and assail the ears of America."

I think it was poetic justice that Dubois died an embittered communist.
