Ten years after the Oscar-winning documentary "An Inconvenient Truth," Al Gore is concerned that a potential Donald Trump presidency could roll back progress in the fight against climate change.
"He has said some things on the climate crisis that I think should concern everyone,'' the former vice president told Anne Thompson in an exclusive interview on TODAY Monday.
"I'm not Pollyanna-ish, but I do think that there is still some basis for hope."
In "An Inconvenient Truth,'' Gore used charts and graphs to make the connection between increasing carbon emissions and the changing climate. To mark the 10th anniversary of the film's release on Tuesday, Paramount is offering free downloads of it on Amazon, XFINITY on demand, iTunes and other digital retailers.

Which of his several mansions runs on 100% renewable energy? By the looks of him, he needs to be doing more walking than talking.
Seems like after 10 years it would be really easy to compare some of the predictions in the film (as mentioned only briefly in passing in the article) to the reality 10 years down the road. Would have been a relatively simple "look how eerily accurate his predictions turned out to be" or "look how far off the mark he was" but the inquiring minds at Today chose not to go there. Hmm, I wonder why.
Yes, the vague reference to his book just proves the media perpetuates the big lie.
With the alleged demise of communism (actually the communists simply renamed themselves "progressives" and came here where most -- but not ALL -- of them became "democrats" and DARN if one of them didn't usurp the presidency and elsewhere in Europe and the world), the left needed another "Boogieman" with which frighten the masses so they could be more easily be herded into their lusted for and unattainable pseudo-egalitarian and Utopian "New World Order" (where some are "more equal than others", thank you Mr. Orwell!).
Anthropogenic Global Warming (AGW) now "Climate Change" drew the short straw!

In ten years’ time, the underlying assumptions have STILL not caused any real science to be applied. By insisting “the science is settled”, there can be no further questioning of the assumptions, no matter how far from reality they drift.
Consensus is not science. Opinion has no place in the cruel hard realities of the universe.
What was a set of coincidences strung together has not been borne out by additional coincidences. There is no evidence of causation by the mechanisms presented by the dramatic didactic apostles of this branch of the “new religion”, and in fact, the very opposite of what they predicted has now been coming to the forefront, that there is no global warming. “Change” is not the same thing as “warming”, even though warming could be a kind of change.

I write in regard to the Proposed Endangerment and Cause or Contribute Findings for Greenhouse Gases Under Section 202(a) of the Clean Air Act, Proposed Rule, 74 Fed. Reg. 18,886 (Apr. 24, 2009), the so-called "Endangerment Finding."
It has been often said that the "science is settled" on the issue of CO2 and climate. Let me put this claim to rest with a simple one-letter proof that it is false.
The letter is s, the one that changes model into models. If the science were settled, there would be precisely one model, and it would be in agreement with measurements.
Alternatively, one may ask which one of the twenty-some models settled the science so that all the rest could be discarded along with the research funds that have kept those models alive.
We can take this further. Not a single climate model predicted the current cooling phase. If the science were settled, the model (singular) would have predicted it.
