Did everybody miss the fact the headline has nothing to do with the article ?

Nobody is "testing" his faith...

Pointless. No fig leaf.
They should just pray for him and his supporters.

The headline writer completely flubbed it.

The article is not about Trump’s faith and values.

The meeting has almost nothing to do with “testing” “faith and values”.

It is all about seeing what Trump has to offer the country.

If anyone has been listening to Trump for the past year, for the past 30 years, they wouldn't have to have this "meeting" to see if they can endorse him.

Don't forget, Tony Perkins hired Josh Dugger.

Not at all.

I supported TC in the beginning. Even as he lost my support to Donald J. Trump, I’ve never disliked Mr. Cruz.

‘Cruzlim’ refers to the nutty Cruz supporter, of which there are many. Glenn Back is case in point.

Beck is clearly borderline psychopath, and, through his own behavior, became the poster child of a Cruzlim.

I’m still smarting over his endorsement of Cruz

I hope he was paying attention during the lying, but he would only have known it was lying if he had been paying attention to what Trump was actually saying. I hope he reads up before this meeting.

If you say “many times,” you will be showing that you are the liar.

A Christian is someone who has believed in the Lord Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of his/her sins.

Donald Trump: ‘I’m Not Sure If I Ever Asked God’s Forgiveness’

http://www.christianpost.com/news/donald-trump-im-not-sure-if-i-ever-asked-gods-forgiveness-141706/#yga5oLS4HY30x6g2.99

A person is saved by grace through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, and God grants him repentance for his sins.

The person is saved 1) from the guilt and penalty of his sins [at conversion], 2) from the power of sin’s rule over him [from the point of conversion to the end of his earthly life, as he is progressively being conformed to the image of Christ] and 3) from the presence of sin [realized when he receives his new body].

When a person becomes a Christian he is given a new heart, a new mind, a new spirit, and the Holy Spirit to guide and teach him in the Way he is to walk. His life is now in Christ. He is a Christian (Christ-follower).

Galatians 2:20 briefly describes the death of His old man (everything he was in Adam) and the life of His new man in Christ. He has been identified with Christ and His death, burial and resurrection at the point of his faith in Christ for the forgiveness of his sins. He is raised up to walk in newness of life now. He will grow in this new life as he continues to believe in God and His Word, the Bible, and depends on the Holy Spirit within him Who leads him into Truth and Freedom from the bondage of sin.

He will exhibit the fruit of the Spirit in his life to others—love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control—as he walks by the Spirit.

Although I do not believe “he has stated that he IS a Christian often” — stating that one is a Christian does not make one a Christian.

If you want to know what a Christian is, see #68.

One way would be for Trump to declare that he would recind Onama’s executive order 13672.

An order that requires certain federal contractors to not discriminate on the basis of sexual orientation and gender identity; - Direct all federal agencies to stop interpreting “sex” to include “sexual orientation” and/or “gender identity.” - Direct the Department of Health and Human Services to eliminate its requirement that all employers include coverage for all FDA-approved contraceptive methods and sterilization procedures;.

and yet those same self serving idiots had no trouble getting behind the liberal pro-abortion same sex marriage gun grabbing big government Willard in 2012...

Where was the vetting and hand wringing then ???

this is not about whether or not Trump is Christian enough or Conservative enough..

Romney was neither but they jumped right in both feet back then for him....no hesitation..

the mantra was “we cant let Obama get re-elected..”

I know what a Christian is.

You, however, made a totally wrong statement about him.

He has said he is a Christian.......YOU said the opposite!

Only God knows his heart........Not you!

Did these 500 preacher vet Obama, and reverend Wright, before the elections? Or even Bush, Clinton, etc?

Probably a change in tactics of the #nevertrump crowd.

I had the same thoughts and questions...

Also:

So these special 500 leaders to TEST HIS FAITH AND VALUES...
Hmm

The term “Sanhedrin” came to mind.

There will be an X number of non-angelic evangelical leaders at this meeting who will try to pull a Megyn on Mr. Trump.

They will ask baited questions hoping that some off-the-cuff, shaded or nuanced answer can be pounced on by them, leaked to the media....to be made into negative headlines for weeks.

I hope (and will pray) Trump will come doubly-prepared and will avoid the adrenaline-rush, loud verbal volleys and incoherencies he sometimes slides into when stimulated by big crowds.

My darker side tells me that Mr. Trump should cancel out and tell them all to stay home, thank you, after reading his lips "No More America Last".

But I will remain positive.....hmmm.

As I said, one’s stating that he is a Christian does not make him one. #68 describes a Christian. A Christian bears the fruit of the Spirit because he has a new heart, he has been “born again,” and he has the Holy Spirit dwelling inside of him. This Truth is from the Bible.

I would say that you are the one who has made a totally wrong statement about Trump, and that he has not said he believes in the Lord Jesus Christ, but only that he believes in God and has attended church.

Jesus said, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also.
[John 14:6-7]

And Peter told the Gentiles about Christ’s crucifixion and being raised from the dead by God on the third day and appearing to those who had been chosen by God as witnesses, who ate and drank with Jesus after He rose from the dead. And Peter told them that Jesus commanded them to preach to the people and to testify that He is the One appointed by God to be judge of the living and the dead. To Him all the prophets bear witness that everyone who believes in Him receives forgiveness of sins through His name. [Acts 10:41-43]

Since you used the highly offensive word "Cruzlim" to describe Cruz supporters who you thought were behind this, one has to assume you have a serious case of CDS...

One supports a losing constitutional conservative candidate with flaws, (Cruz) the other are rapist, head coppers, murderers...(Muslims)

It's a cute meme, but comes across as very offensive...

Beck is clearly borderline psychopath,

Borderline is being generous
