Well, if you say so but it’s difficult for me to imagine any Chicago Democrat going to the effort to pull the lever for a Republican of any stripe especially one that would challenge Madigan let alone a Republican that would be physically able to overcome the gag reflex and nausea required to pull it for Durban. And to think I was often told, as a child that I had a “good imagination”, it must have significantly diminished with age but now days I am wrong about a lot of things so I’ll just add this one to the growing list.
Since Cross and Saviano aren’t in the state house, maybe, SB 600 (or a similar bill) could be passed during this session. Do you know of any state legislators who might propose it?
Surgery successful so far. Discomfort from surgery continues. Spending most of my time horizontal in an often vain search for sleep. Keep those prayers coming. Nothing is better medicine. God bless!

Quinn was so terrible and Rauner was socially liberal enough that it’s not surprising some usual dem-leaners who voted for Durbin also voted for him. Plenty of non-conservatives aren’t fond of corruption either.
Also there are a bunch of these idiots called “independents” who don’t strongly identify with with either party.
Left hospital today, somewhat rested, somewhat regular; surgical sites no longer bleeding, and catheterized (should be short term). Thanks for your prayers!
