At some point, and sooner better than later, we need to return to an understanding of the role of humanity as intermediate agents — who are not mere dumb products of nature, like Darwin would assert, and yet not ultimate causes, as in a Nietzschean vision. We are choosers between God and the devil.
Barack is messed up because the devil messed him up and because he, in the manner he participated in the universal fall of mankind, permitted the devil to mess him up and then to use him as a tool, a vehicle, to mess others up. Barack could yet, in principle, be forgiven (only God can see infallible to his ultimate future), but he should never be excused.
