Wednesday, I participated in Facebook’s meeting with conservatives at the company’s headquarters in Silicon Valley.
Even though I did the round trip in a little more than 24 hours, the West Coast feels a long way away from New York City. Geographically and culturally.

My personal experience with Facebook is that the people running that company are the sleaziest, greediest, most corrupt and irresponsible people currently walking the planet.

Just to make sure all the sellouts were covered, Jonah Goldberg, per his GLoP Culture podcast over on ricochet.com, was invited, apparently belatedly. But he was offended that they were neither offering to pay him for the meeting nor for his travel to CA. So, he concluded they invited him knowing he wouldn’t come, but so that they and he could say he had been invited.
