Seymour has a new Aldies. It’s YUGE. Gonna pick up monthly medicine and stop by there.

It’s just off the interstate by Home Depot. Excellent location.

My bully got her paw stung yesterday while helping in orchard.
She will no doubt spend the day in the daybed watching TV and her kittens.
Yes LOVED and they all know it!

Good morning. Hope you do, too.

Our local American Legion is having a Steak Bake put on by the Sons. Hubby will help. I might be gone most of the day.

Make that dog a German Shepherd and that is exactly what happened this morning in our house.

Preakness is the 13th Race being ran around 6:45 I believe. Morning Line Up is Nyquist is 3/5 and my Derby pick Exaggerator is 3/1...

Those are the handicappers two top choices. I would really like to see Nyquist win today. The owner and trainer shot out of Churchill the very next day after the Derby. They wanted a lot of warm-up times on the Preakness Track.

If I am to rally next week with our soon to be president, it too is time to tackle the Honey-Do-LIst and trim it down considerably.........

Hi NIKK and all,

Was a beautiful sunny day here yesterday but supposed to have some showers off and on today but it’s pouring here now

Was supposed to go back down to the family home for more weeding and trimming today, but may need to wait until tomorrow. Got quite a bit done yesterday, but lots more to do - can’t believe how quickly the dang weeds got there. I hate the freakin’ horsetails - they’re almost impossible to get rid of, just keep popping up. Never had them in the front before but they were thick as were a bunch of grasses that were never there before. Roses were looking beautiful. One of my friends was there and started trimming the roses way back while I was busy doing something else - hope they grow back OK. Bought some bark yesterday and hoping to get that down in at least one area. Will need to get quite a bit more.

Do any of you use Preen for weed control?

Watched Mr. T’s speech at the NRA about 7 last night when I got home and settled in. Thought he did a great job and the response from the audience was super! He had a totally packed house - which was great! Looking for the other speeches as I’d like to watch/hear those, too.

Hope everyone has a super duper day!

“Not quite so many re-tweets.”

I think Melania may have had something to do with that. I think it was the Hannity family interview and maybe another one that she said she told him not to re-tweet (paraphrasing).

LOL!

That Shepherd looks a lot like my sister’s 85lb boy (aka my 4-legged nephew, not to be confused with my 2-legged one ;-). Really sweet dog. He’s 11 but sometimes I think he thinks he is still a puppy. I’ve learned to close the door when I spend the night there because I’ve had him wake me up in the night with a big sloppy lick across the face. When all of us are out on the beach or somewhere similar, his herding instincts kick in and he runs around making sure he sees all his “family” (including our friend and her sons) and kind of “herds” us. Their previous Shepherd did the same thing - interesting and fun to watch.

They sure are! I love my sister’s dog.

I don’t have any pets right now as I don’t have a yard (live in a townhouse), wasn’t home much when I was working, and haven’t decided what type of dog I want. I’ve always loved Shepherds. One of my cousins bred and raised purebred Standard Poodles - very smart dogs and they don’t shed (I bought my sister a little wooden plaque that says: In our house, dog hair is a condiment. They vacuum daily but the guy sheds a lot, which he can’t help).

One of my former colleagues had a labradoodle - really cute and sweet dog and didn’t shed much either. I’m guessing he weighs about 60lbs, which is a decent size.

I was looking for Sherriff Clarke’s speech at the NRA (I like him a lot - maybe head or Ass’t Secretary of FBI?) and found this article by Colonel West that I liked and thought my TF friends might, too. BTW - West for VP or Sect’y of Defense?
