Hewitt has been miserably wrong about everything in this campaign season. He spent days on end yammering about how Trump was "losing altitude," Cruz had a lock on Indiana, how Trump could "never get to 1237, the math just isn't there," and how the "open convention" he yearned for was inevitable.

Now he is clinging to Krystal's hapless quixotic crusade to find someone, anyone, to depth charge Trump and give the election to Hillary. And these people consider themselves to be the bright boys of the conservative media.

Yesterday I head Hewitt attacking Trump for having dared to tweet about terrorism being the cause of the Egyptair disaster. Hewitt said that Trump should wait until all the facts are in. After that he went after Trump saying that he had no chance of winning unless he released his tax returns.

Sounds like his predictions in this campaign season are about as accurate as his predictions during college football season. He always predicts Ohio State and Notre Dame will win, no matter who they play--and if there are any USC Trojans fans out there, he hates your school most of all.
