I am done with Hewitt.
Hewitt’s son works for the RNC. So he has insider
information and he says many Republicans are not on board with Trump. Hewitt himself won’t endorse Trump because he won’t release his tax returns and doesn’t have a firm military plan. Hewitt also thinks Trump needs to name a specific potential SCOTUS pick and have this man/woman tell us what they believe and why.
Hewitt is pushing 3rd party hard. He is taking cheap shots at Trump every chance he can, saying he is not “presidential” and can’t imagine him being commander in chief.
Hewitt also says Trump needs to come on his show and “explain” himself( Trump hasn’t come on since the last debate that Hewitt participated in). Hewitt brings on ant-trump people and agrees with them all. He cuts off callers if they try to call him on his Trump bias.
Hewitt is an arrogant man. He has been wrong on nearly every political prediction he has made. Why would anyone listen to him?

Hewitt is a beta male faux conservative.

The agenda is to keep the borders open, the trade deals bad, and to send OTHER people's sons into war.

I’ve posted before and it applies here is that one of the most disappointing things to me a Catholic is to see many of the self proclaimed “conservative” Catholic politicians and commentators go stark raving mad when it comes to a rational evaluation of all things “Trump”

I was curious what Hewitt was up to, and I missed the 1st hour with Weekly Substandard Billy, but caught the second. In the first segment he has some woman from National Review, and Larry Elder. While Hewitt and the NR woman were getting orgasmic about 3rd party. Elder tried to remind them 3rd party would facilitate Hillary. Elder was not there in the next segment. Dickerson from Face The Nation, and someone from politico came on after and all of them were speculating on a way to get the Libertarians to dump Johnson and elevate Weld as the Pres candidate. This is what the #nevertrumps are thinking today

I listened to Hugh years ago in 99-2000, in fact that’s how I found FR. He used to plug FR and a few Freepers. I tuned him out and quit on him when he started going all Romney all the time. I’ve had to quit him, Beck, Rush, Levin and others. I started listening to Rick Roberts in Dallas and so far he is bringing good material.

“I am done with Hewitt”

Cancelled hearing Gallagher and him in Philly last night.

You provide a nice list of the reasons why.

Hewitt’s “reasons” for opposing Trump are so stupid, I don’t believe they are the real reasons.

I cannot stand Hewitt any more. He is, indeed, very arrogant. I heard him belittling Mike Gallagher yesterday morning in the last 5 minutes of his show. I know that some of it was kidding around, but Hewitt simply could not hide his arrogance. It has gotten to the point that I can’t even stand the sound of his voice.

He either doesn’t realize, or doesn’t care, that his actions are likely to give us Hillary. He can’t see, or won’t, the forest for the trees. Maybe he should take Churchill’s advice:

“If Hitler invaded Hell, I would make at least a favorable reference to the Devil in the House of Commons.”

Geez Louise, if Winston Churchill could see his way toward helping Stalin’s Soviet Union, why can’t Hewitt see that he should at least step out of the way and let Trump fight and defeat Hillary?
