I’ve posted before and it applies here is that one of the most disappointing things to me a Catholic is to see many of the self proclaimed “conservative” Catholic politicians and commentators go stark raving mad when it comes to a rational evaluation of all things “Trump”

Hewitt like Limbaugh, have pretended to be neutral but they are not. Dennis Praeger has finally come around and said he would vote for Trump, although he personally does not like him. He is now taking his fellow talk show hosts to task for being so vehemently anti-Trump, as in Medved, Levin etc. Bill Bennett has slowly warmed to Trump. Mike Gallagher has always said he would not bash the candidates and he has not.
I listened to Hewitt for years as I appreciated his interviews on historical issues, and his musings with various writers.I read many of the books he recommended and they were worthwhile. As a fellow Catholic, I have not understood how he can call himself a Catholic when he regularly attends other churches.
Somehow, he has got it into his head he is now an intellectual Republican giant. He fawns over people like Chick Todd and always tells us how many TV shows he is on. I have turned off many TV and radio shows.
