“Er, that was the Conservative Party whip whose arm he grabbed.”

Great! So he was helping someone from another party - a guy not even from his own party. Awesome.

You don’t get it. The whole thing was staged by the NDPers and the Conservative member. Pull back shot and he could have easily gone around them. He was making like he couldn’t get through because both the NDP and Conservatives were trying to continue a debate on the bill and Trudeau wanted none of it. The Conservative member stated he resented being grabbed by the PM and stated the PM should never have left his seat. Get a clue.

“Conservative MP Gord Brown told Prime Minister Justin Trudeau to let go of him during an encounter Wednesday that also saw a New Democrat MP accuse the prime minister of elbowing her in the chest, the Tory MP said.

In a written statement emailed to The Recorder and Times hours after the incident, Brown, the MP for Leeds-Grenville-Thousand Islands and Rideau Lakes and the Opposition Whip, also said he told Trudeau he should never have left his seat.

“This isn’t about me, it’s about the Liberal Party’s lack of respect for Parliament, and its unilateral attempts to take control of the House of Commons, which set off tonight’s events,” said Brown.”
