New Jersey Democratic Sen. Cory Booker, who supports a pending sentencing reform bill that would reduce sentences for violent criminals, wants America to have a candid conversation about what violent crimes should be treated as violent crimes.
...
Booker is a supporter of the bipartisan Sentencing Reform and Corrections Act of 2015 (SRCA), which is being pushed by House Speaker Paul Ryan, resident Barack Obama
...
Not likely to be included in this conversation: Victims of crime, such as Army veteran Stanley Carter.
He died after Malcolm B. Benson robbed and shot him at a Detroit bus stop in September 2015. Benson got out of prison early for good behavior after taking a plea deal for second-degree murder and felony use of a firearm and served 19 years. He robbed and murdered Carter only months after his release.
Benson committed his second murder at age 49 had Michigans tougher Truth in Sentencing guidelines that ordered convicts sentenced after 1998 (Benson killed his first victim in 1995) to serve their mandatory minimum sentence been in effect, Benson would have still been incarcerated and Carter would still be alive.
Booker also explained that the SRCA is only the beginning of what the bills progressive proponents want: He personally would like to see all mandatory minimum sentencing requirements for criminals sentenced to federal prisons scrapped entirely, leaving sentencing solely up to Obama-appointed judges discretions.

So Cory old boy, what should we call violent crimes in YOUR freak show world?
Violent crimes laws are racist
Being Conservative, of course.
....another Odungo wannabe
Killin’ Whitey be cool, yo!
It depends on what the definition of “is” is.
Black on Black = non-violent crime.
White on Black (rare as that is) = violent crime.
Right Booker?
Justice-involved Amish?
...he also has imaginary “friends”
He doesn't want a conversation, he wants a lecture.
I’m fine with that, IF I get to carry a gun any where without state interference...
Ok, I’ll grant you that beating Corey Booker’s head with clubs until it resembles a swelled up hornet nest should be a misdemeanor.
Leroy Brown stood up and said "Yo cracka, I self-identify as a jaywalker".
The judge issued a $25 dollar fine and released Mr. Brown.
Yeah, like those murders, rapes, robberies and home invasions that are committed by BLM feral Negroes, got it.
The mentally challenged Booker would not be saying the same thing if it happened to him.
I still don’t go to Newark, NJ unless I have to. I am now trying to escape New Jersey and I live in a good town.
Ok all white color crime should be a misdemeanor. Done.
The lawless are a much sought after voting bloc by the DNC.
I am sure he would like that.
Not gonna happen.
