Can you imagine how much longer the U.S. TSA lines are going to get now? “Show up at the airport 24 hour before your flight.”

Egypt Air was the one that used had a one time deal to fly you from JFK to JFK JR

LOL! https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/EgyptAir_Flight_990 (31 October 1999):

The Egyptian report suggested several control failure scenarios as possible causes of the crash, focusing on a possible failure of one of the right elevator's power control units. While the NTSB's report did not determine a specific reason for the relief first officer's alleged actions, their report stated the impact was "a result of the relief first officer's flight control inputs". Supporting its deliberate-act conclusion, the NTSB report determined that no mechanical failure scenario could result in aircraft movements that matched those recorded by the flight data recorder (FDR), and that even had any of the failure scenarios put forward by the Egyptian authorities occurred, the aircraft would still have been recoverable because of the 767's redundant elevator control system.

It would make so much sense to allow no luggage, including technology, on a plane. People wouldn’t accept that solution.

I mean it’s possible said mechanical failure could have been so quick that a mayday would have been impossible to send. That seems very unlikely to me though.

Laura Air crash in Thailand in 1989. B-767 had engines thrust reverser activate at 37000 feet. it took 12 seconds for the plane to completely break apart. seriously doubtful but that was supposed to be fixed on all aircraft.

most likely terrorism but you never know

You chose the flight that is scheduled for today, which is a 737. The flight that went missing departed on the 18th, and was the next flight down on the FlightAware list, which is an A320.

but you will get on a plane in an airport where both were serviced by Moslims who are not vetted each time they come to work?

It's terrorism. Here's why:

1. More than 10 minutes without any contact with Air Traffic Control.

2. Both Pilot and Co-Pilot had more than 2,500 hours behind the controls of the Airbus A-320, the model that "disappeared."

3. Pilots are taught that under any condition, fly the plane first, deal with any problems second, communicate third. Now, either the pilots had their hands full with something that was going on in the cockpit (terrorist?) or there was a sudden "mechanical failure" which prevented them from communicating.

4. They were ten minutes over Egyptian air space. Parts of Egypt have become terrorist hot-spots.

5. Plane had been in Brussels the day before. Brussels as we all know is a major terrorist planning/recruiting/execution point.

Everything I see points to terrorism.
