You have not thought this through well at all.
Kasich would have had a better chance running as a Dem for their nominee. He should be summarily ejected from the Republican party.
He is not needed as Ohio will seem to be solidly behind Trump.
But, say he was selected as Mr. Trump's VP and Mr. Trump went on to win the general.
What happens if Mr. Trump suddenly keels over? Do you really want that POS Kasich as his successor?

I want this darn thing over. I want Trump to carry Ohio, Florida, Virginia, among many others. I can’t stand the thought of 8 more years of the criminal Clintonistas. Bill has already destroyed the integrity of the office. We need misinformed millenials who love Bernie, We need evangelicals, Mormons, Catholic, everyone with orthodox faith.
