Reince Priebus, fool
Washington Post ^ | May 16, 2016 | Richard Cohen

Posted on 05/17/2016 5:53:49 AM PDT by detective

I don’t know Reince Priebus, the head of the Republican Party (such as it is). He may be a very nice guy, what with a wife and kids and probably a car or two. Still, after watching him on the Sunday interview shows, I have concluded that the man has no pride, no shame and, almost certainly, no future. After Donald Trump loses the presidential election, the name Priebus will, like Quisling or even Boycott, take on a separate meaning: fool.

Priebus went from TV studio to TV studio, four in all, on a trudge of abasement, a ride of shame. He was asked about Trump’s womanizing, his attempts in the past to pass himself off as someone else (“John Miller,” “John Barron”), his misogyny and his plan to bar all Muslims from the country (details to follow). The Mexican wall, did that come up? His belittling of John McCain, was that mentioned? His mockery of a physically handicapped reporter, did someone mention that?

The Washington Post viciously attacks Reince Priebus. The attack includes assaults on his character and personal insults. It is an emotional rant of insults without any attempt at logic and/or reason.

The only honest thing the author says is that he does not know Priebus. From then on it is one insult after another.

Priebus must be doing something right. The Washington Post now considers him someone to be worried about.

Priebus must be doing something right

He is. On Sunday AM TV interviews, he sounded like he's sorted through the whole thing and rejects the maneuvering of the desperate elitists who would sacrifice the Republican Party rather than lose their influence.

There’s a reason that people compare this so-called newspaper with rotting garbage.

I am reminded that WaPo has a mission right now and that’s to take out all things Trump. WaPo ankle-biting at Reince is weak. I am not a fan of Priebus. However, it’s telling that WaPo has such limited soft spots to attack. Yes, Priebus is one of them.

The only fool here is the author and his employer. In fact, one of his foolish colleagues has to eat his own article because of their foolishness. 20 hit piece people indeed.

“Playreporter”, magazine, with nikkid pics of Hillary or Bernie depending on ones gender and orientation of the day.

Nothing in the Washington Post is worth reading. Its just a purveyor of harsh left wing propaganda.

Priebus, who up to a week ago, had been too on the fence to say anything positive has taken the best road now, that is, we have a candidate, we must support him. I am happy with that.

Meanwhile, these hyinas keep attacking by stating non truths as fact and then postulating off of them. The reporter issue and the others cited come to mind. BTW, did any of them mention the famous Biden comment about telling a wheel chair bound guy to “stand up”. Of course not, see, he made a mistake, Trump was being malicious.

Then on the other side, we have traitors like Cruz, the Bushes, Romnut, who continue to roil the mix. I one time thought I would vote for Cruz. He lost and I would have still considered him in the future up until his current antics. Same for the bushes. Not now.

I was told I have to vote for the least of my choices. I did that for McCain, Romnuts (over my first choice); and Bush in 04 because there was no one else. Once it even worked out like with Reagan in 80 (I wanted Haig). My point is I went with the party line and became a “party guy” for the good of the cause. I guess it does not work both ways with some.

Richard Cohen sounds like a self-absorbed clown.

Priebus knows his back is up against the wall.

I’ll say one thing about Priebus, although I don’t think he was ever really a big Trump supporter and probably would have preferred some other candidate, he certainly kept his promise to be fair to Trump and as soon as it was obvious that he would win the nomination, Priebus declared, “Game over, time to get behind Trump.” and quickly shot down all of the “#nevertrump” talk.

The WaPo columnist has no clue....

His entire diatribe is based on Trump losing to Hillary in the general election therefore R.P. is a dunce or worse....

What he doesn’t account for is that Trump will beat Hillary like a baby seal.....

I'm not a huge fan or Priebus, and I probably will never really admire him, but you are correct.

He has been good to his word of supporting the nominee.
