How this story was reported

Bikers who might never have considered talking to outsiders before Waco recently spoke with CNN. Some were in the thick of the violence, others were hundreds of miles away. Most face serious prison time.

CNN also obtained voluminous documentation, including witness statements, and hours of video evidence from Waco police dash cams, as well as a cameras police set up in the restaurant parking lot. CNN also obtained and reviewed videos from the Twin Peaks surveillance cameras.

That evidence, along with interviews with experts and bikers from both clubs, form the basis of the documentary, "Biker Brawl: Inside the Texas Shootout," which airs for the first time on Monday at 9 p.m. on CNN.

Sure, and the undercover cops also had enough power in the clubs to call all those bikers together from all over the state, and made sure they all came armed for war, right?

You conspiracy theorists really aren’t the brightest bulbs.

At this point that is true, the implications of the attorney’s statement suggests final trials will not be.

This is a part of a pattern coming from the DOJ.

It was a regularly scheduled meeting for the Texas Confederation of Clubs and Independents. That group was involved in lobbying for changes in the Texas helmet laws.

From 2013:

And more recently:

““You people epitomize the people that came out of the Reagan revolution,” Republican state representative Bill Zedler told the black-leather- and blue-jean-clad crowd.”

Can you really trust what an attorney says when he has a lie up on his website?

“Mr. Looney has won 60 criminal defense trials since 1995

with ZERO convictions!

“It was a regularly scheduled meeting for the Texas Confederation of Clubs and Independents. “

The Texas CofC&C is an extortion racket run by the Bandidos.

??????? Do you have any info. regarding his record. I find nothing in the bar records to indicate he is lying.
What is your point????
No one wins all their cases? I suspect he is very select in what he takes on. Let’s others in the office handle possible losers etc.

Looney has previously sought to portray Zamora as a family man and former youth baseball coach who lived in a simple home across the street from his parents.

The Perez slaying went unsolved until years later, when authorities investigating a suspected weapons trafficker caught a break.

In a bid for leniency, officials said, the weapons trafficker turned informant and led authorities into the middle of the rivalry between Zamora and Santiago Salinas, a hated rival.

Hit men allegedly working for Zamora shot Perez when they mistook him for Salinas, who looked similar, had a wife by the same name, and was even in the Chilos restaurant during the attack.

“It was a regularly scheduled meeting for the Texas Confederation of Clubs and Independents.”

Wrong, the regularly scheduled meetings for that district are in Austin, this one was moved for the first and only time to Waco purposefully as a show of force against the Cossacks.

“That group was involved in lobbying for changes in the Texas helmet laws.”

That group is a front run by the Bandidos, who use it to extort protection money from all the other clubs in the state.

The Bandidos must be well liked in Texas. Every chapter keeps electing them to head the local chapters.

Well, when gang war is a consequence of not voting for the Bandidos, it’s pretty easy to get votes.

You don’t think the Austin cops would have gone along with the plans made by the Feds, do you? Of course it was moved to a county with a history of going along with ATF sponsored massacres.

The cops didn’t move the meeting, the Bandidos moved it.

Look, I’ve watched the fallout from this every week for the past year. I am not going to be trapped into believing the lies from either side. But it does not pass the smell test.

There is no way this is anything other than a travesty of justice. Waco looks totally stupid. No other explanation makes sense except for it being a Fed Directed screw up.

It is an ongoing embarrassment for the State of Texas and makes Waco look stupid (again).

I don’t know Looney, but I am told his track record is pretty good.

Makes sense. Thanks for the added info. As for Looney he is doing what defense attorney's do all the time. In younger days I was in court most days, civil and criminal. Saw it all, as they say.

The bikers did not initiate the attack, the LEO initiated the attack on the bikers. That's funny, both clubs are blaming each other.

Look at wiki biased account. No statements from the bikers on biker shootings or bikers that praised the cops for saving lives ....

Eyewitness accounts[edit]

Some of the witnesses who came forth following the event:

• Former U.S. Marine Michael Devoll of Fort Worth, was one of the bikers arrested and held for three weeks said there was a large amount of rifle fire coming from the police. Devoll also states that he thought the police were firing randomly into the crowd.[39]

• Steve Cochran, a Navy veteran and member of the Sons of the South club, arrived shortly before the shooting began and stated that he heard a pistol shot while the rest of the shots coming from a rifle. Other witnesses of the event also stated that the majority of the gunfire came from the police.[40]

Two accounts totally not supported by the facts. Goes right along with the accusations that undercover officers started the fight.
