There are only two possibilities.
One is that there is one religion that is the truth, and all others are incorrect. Start from there, and you end with Christ, for it is easy to prove the errors in other religions.
The other is that all religions are equal. The difficulty here is that the result is similar to Animal Farm: All religions are equal, but Islam is more equal than others. That is because if all religions are equal, the only distinguishing element is power, and Islam is more willing to eradicate its opponents than any other religion.
So, as Joshua put it, choose you this day whom you will serve. I choose Jesus, because He first loved me, along with the whole world.
I suppose if you attack their idea of religious equivalence some will get very upset and defensive. They might just have to rethink some of their premises and they don’t want to have to go there.
I had a liberal family member point me to a mediamatters video about how conservatives are wrong about transgendered people in bathrooms...(which missed the point but...)
...my reply was that such a blatantly biased video was just cherry picking stats to form a preconceived conclusion and was nothing more than bigotry in its purest form, it was “hate speech” masquerading as truth.
I didn’t hear back. I’m going to start using “hate speech”, “intolerance” and “bigot” in all my responses to anything anti-Christian.
