I knew some peeps back in the 60s that did them.

Ah yes! I do remember the morning glories of my youthin SF in 1967. I did get a little warpage of perception with them but that was overridden by the extreme nausea and vomiting that accompanied it. I was not tempted again, invited and urged, but there was not temptation.

“Maybe the same guy that first pried open an oyster and decided that might be good to eat.”

I have often wondered about that guy. Must have been one hungry dude!

Or the guy a long time ago who told his friend, “See that big animal over there with the long horns? Well, I’m going over there and squeeze those things hanging from that bag, and then drink whatever comes out.”

This is an old fad come around again.

Back then, the government wouldn't have even considered banning ordinary flower seeds, but just wait...

The banana peel craze was a deliberately manufactured hoax. Donovan was in on it and the theater group that operated in the auditorium of the old Episcopal church in SF actively promoted it after someone already stoned on something said in a group session, what if everyone thought bananas could get you high? I was there then, in 1967. Some of those people were kids I had known in Florida in St. Petersburg. You can see most of them on the cover of the Country Joe album Together. Joe married one of my friends from down home.

Condoms suck

If that worried abstain or go oral only

Good lord....Saran wrap....I can’t imagine

Maybe sexual discretion made sense after all

When I was young the average girl maybe had had 4-6 partners at marriage ...maybe some still virgins and contrary to macho bravado men weren’t much different given women could get banged so much easier

Today even church girls have sex

And most young women I’m told by kids have sex just to do it....and then they date maybe

It’s pitiful.....girl puts out sweetly and enthusiastically hoping for dating relationship or she just bangs away to get off like a boy might unencumbered

Girl will likely have shagged a dozen guys by high and for sure if you count college and think nothing of pics and video with a guy not their husband or at least fiancee

And poor people don’t marry much anymore regardless their color

Voluntary sterilization should be easy and accessible and encouragef for humans today like we have it for beasts

If peyote killed you I wouldn’t be here

It will make your stomach not so good...worse than mushrooms...

But to be perfectly honest...for an hallucinogen aside from tummy issues or onset nausea which passes

Peyote buttons are infinitely more pleasant a trip than Sidney or shrooms

It flows and with much less anxiety....there is a kava or valerian sort of smoothness

Not for driving or cliff climbing or doing surgery but if one must trip ...real peyote buttons or powdered button would be my first choice

You’re an anthropological sort.....that Ayahuasca is one to avoid absolutely...it does kill routinely

I have not tripped in 38 years....too much real life in the way since

The problem is that the human race has figured out all kinds of ways to protect “stupid” from itself. Nature takes care of that problem if left alone. Now, however, they’re prevented from insuring that they don’t over run the planet by being saved from themselves. Time to let nature take its course.
