Amazing considering how little force it actually takes to turn the steering shaft with power steering.

I can turn the big tires on my truck with it running merely by reaching under the fender and turning the u-joint which is about 2” diameter with my hand.

The hardest part is not losing hide on the inner fender.

It takes more effort now than it did on cars made in the sities which had power steering. I used to spin the wheel with the tip of one finger. I hated driving some of them because the steering was too light and easy, people used to complain of no “road feel”.
