All Conservatives Need to Write a "Thank You" Letter to Pres. Barack Obama
Strac6 (Vanity Editorial)

Posted on 05/13/2016 8:35:45 PM PDT by Strac6

All true conservatives need to sit down tomorrow, take pen and paper in hand, and write a thank you letter to Pres. Obama. He just handed us the 2016 general election on a silver platter.

By issuing what amounts to a “royal decree” that every public school, in every school district, in every city and town, in every state in America must allow ninth grade boys to go shower with the girls after phys ed class, he is handed us a very rare but exceptionally powerful political “wedge issue.” Wedge issues are exceptionally rare in politics, particularly for us conservatives. They are those issues where no amount of spin can erase the insanity and dirty dealing by the other side. Wedge issues are those clearly definable topics where there is no mistaking where one side differs from the other. Wedge issues are those wonderful political things where we can clearly say “this is what we believe, and that is what the other side believes.” And after that clear and concise distinction, we are able to look at undecided voters and know we will win when we ask rhetorically, “and what side do you agree with?”

Team Obama’s decision that all students must be able to self-identify their own gender is insanity personified. Since when did it become a civil right for a perverted boy to forge a note from their parents, hand it to school administration, and then sneak a hidden camera into the girl’s showers? That’s what this boils down to. Under Obama’s insane dictate there is no requirement whatsoever for any medical or psychological diagnosis of so-called “gender identity disorder.” There is no requirement for the student to dress as a girl, get any approval whatsoever for their desire to invade the girls’ bathrooms and locker rooms. They can even change their so-called “gender identity” on a day-by-day basis.

The reality is that this new dictate from Obama is a hall pass for every perverted and socially maladjusted junior high school boy.

In issuing this depraved commandment from on high, Obama has given us the ability to clearly define what we believe and what the radical leftists such as Obama, Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders believe.

Another requirement to be a successful wedge issue is that the issue must not just hang on legal principles but have strong emotional content to it as well. Quite frankly, I can’t think of an issue with stronger emotional attachment for anyone who is ever had a student in any public school anywhere in this country. This may not be the most serious issue regarding the future the country; certainly national defense issues, illegal immigration, voting fraud, the wholesale release of criminals so they can return to society and prey upon us, taxation and other issues may be more important in the long run, but for this year, and this election, this can be an exceptionally highly emotional issue that will drive undecided voters into our column.

Remember that the issue of so-called independent and undecided voters is critically important. The reality of modern American politics is that even if we had an 8 x 10 glossy of Hillary Clinton shooting Santa Claus on Christmas Eve, 40% of the electorate would still vote for her. Likewise, the national Republican candidate is going to get about 40% of the vote. The all-important voters are the middle 12 to 20%, the ones who do not have strong party affiliation, but who, in this case, can clearly understand the difference between right and wrong, and can be easily helped to understand why not just this decision, but the whole gestalt of Clinton-Obamaism is so very wrong, and very wrong to its very core.

This wedge issue will affect much more than just the presidential election. The coming federal election really has three separate categories. We will elect a president; many states will elect Senators; and every voter will help decide who they will send to the House of Representatives from their district. This issue will resonate strongly in two of those three sets of races.

In the presidential election, if managed correctly by Mr. Trump, it will be an issue in the back of the mind (and very often in the forefront of voters’ minds) when they step into the voting booth. It’s an issue that can clearly cement the election for Mr. Trump.

It won’t matter that much in Senatorial elections. In most elections for the Senate, the contested issues don’t have much emotional content to them. I realize that for many conservatives, the issue of replacing Rino Republicans is important, but that will not be that important in most Senate elections, especially to those swing voters.

It’s in the congressional elections where the issue will again become vitally important. There are very few voters who actually have met their senator, but in many cases their representative is a neighbor. He or she is someone they’ve seen at political rallies, county fairs, high school graduations, high school football games and all those other places where members of the House of Representatives go to allegedly “take the pulse of the people”

Republican conservative candidates for the House of Representatives will be able to gain huge political advantage over any potential Democratic rival by arguing time and again, that those “overpaid senseless Washington bureaucrats think they know more about running our schools that our school board does. All of us who support our local schools know when there’s an election for the local school board, we all listen to what the various candidates have to say, and vote for the ones that you know best reflect our values, our ethics, our morals. The reality is that when we send our kids to school every day, we’re entrusting them to the teachers and administrators of that school. Here in Smithville, those teachers and administrators answer to us. But now those far left perverted bureaucrats up in Washington want to handcuff our local school officials and insist that a bunch of loony high school boys should be able to go into the girls’ locker room after phys ed class and watch the girls in the shower ”

”Quite frankly, I have no concern whether or not some far-left Clinton-Obama Washington bureaucrat can justify this by some twisting of our Constitution and our laws. Here in Smithville we know there’s something more important than bureaucrats and judges who think they can take their bizarre ideas and inflict them upon us, our families, and our kids. You see, here in Smithville, we know the difference between right and wrong, and ladies and gentlemen, each and every one of you knows that is darn wrong. And by the way, if there weren’t any kids, ministers or sweet ladies here tonight, I might replace that word “darn” with something a little more, ah, shall we say “profound!”

“If you ever want to know what this election boils down to, just ask yourself one easy question. My opponent belongs to the party that wants to inflict this perverted policy upon our schools, upon you and your families, on you and your children and your grandchildren.”

“He thinks it’s right.”

“I think it’s wrong. I think it’s damn wrong!!!!! (excuse me ladies)”

“What do you think?” (Rhetorical question)

Another line of attack could be something along the thrust of “you know we’re hearing all this talk about so-called “gender-identity”. To me, it’s nothing more than a way for a bunch of perverted Washington bureaucrats to make our local schools allow teenage boys into the girls’ bathrooms and the girls’ showers here in our schools in Smithville. Personally, I think this so-called “gender identity” disease is something that was made up by those bureaucrats, not a bunch of real-world doctors. If I wanted to know about so-called “gender identity”, I asked some of the pediatricians who have been treating our kids here in Smithville for years, like Dr. Brown, Dr. Shapiro, Dr. Miller and all the other ones that have kept our kids well for generations. I think they would tell you what they think about this so-called “gender identity”. The reality is, so-called” gender-identity” is a “disease” that was invented by a bunch of wacky leftist college professors and Washington bureaucrats with too much time… and too much of our tax money… on their hands…. and my opponent’s party thinks it is a great idea.”

I realize some conservatives, who tend to be people of high moral and ethical standing, will worry some school boards will implement the psychotic principles of this dictate. The reality is, we get rid of Obama in seven months and there is no way in the next seven months that Obama is going to have any ability to force this on any school board. Some delusional school boards may adopt a policy, but the reality is we will have tens of thousands of cases moving very slowly through the courts, in most cases backed by the full legal force of state and local governments.

I do have one caution for my fellow conservatives tonight. Don’t let our criticism of this be mislabeled as an “anti-gay agenda.” In doing so we only give the far leftists the ability to attack us as homophonic hatemongers. Remember this is not a campaign against gay people or so-called “gay rights.” This is a huge, easy to understand, easy to agree with campaign against perverts and the Clinton-Obama far left Washington bureaucrats who want to inflict their perversions upon us.

Frankly, my friends, it’s going to be very hard for the other side to get much public support when we shape the argument in such a way that they have to hold up their hand and say “Yeah, I’m in favor of perverts and perversion.” Regardless of what you think about gays and gay issues, make sure we don’t let them paint us with some false anti-gay agenda. When we shape the argument in our way, attacking perverts and perversion, we will win every time.

In closing, do not despair tonight. In every election campaign, sometime in May, we always hope we will be able to develop enough of a wedge issue to affect the election. We always hope to have enough ammunition to swing the hearts and minds of voters, and hope that that ammunition will last us through November.

My fellow Americans, turn toward the White House tonight and say thank you! We wanted ammunition…. And Barack Obama just handed us an election-winning W88 thermonuclear warhead!

But is very rare we have such a highly emotional wedge issue. It’s ours to use, or lose, (the election.)

When I was in school in the olden days, all girls from grades 7-12 had to take gym. We wore those God awful ugly blue gym suits. Taking a shower for most of us was a terrifying experience because no one in my family or friends families ever appeared anywhere to anyone else unless fully dressed. I doubt seriously if my parents ever stripped down in front of each other.

Kids in our local public school don’t take the same kind of gym class as we had and I doubt if most of them even work up a sweat. According to my grandson, none of the girls take a shower during the school day although the guys do.

Beyond demented policy allowing kids of both sexes to take showers and everyone using the same bathroom, this is the same government who allowed, even aided and abetted upwards of 25 million to enter this country illegally, much of it during war time.

These are clearly not the actions of a sane leadership with good intentions.

All girls need to refuse to undress/take public shower. They simply have to express that they “feel like and self-identify as a non-showering, fully dressed person” at that moment.

When I was in school in the Dark Ages, after gym we were supposed to shower. The water was always COLD! the Anglo kids would wrap a towel around themselves, dash under the shower head and get a little water on their head, the run out rubbing like they were all wet.
The Hispanic boys, jumped right into the cold water and lathered up with soap and got clean! They probably did not have hot water at home and were used to cold water.

OK, I tried to dodge the showers also.

Except that Trump is not strongly against the Obama Bathroom Invasion. He deferred to “State’s Rights” which is just a copout.

In my state Senators outnumber Congressmen 2 to 1.

Both my grandsons resisted showering every day when they were about 10-11. Although they tried every excuse in the book, they never used the “feel like” one. Remember my son used to tell me that the “mature” eighth and ninth grade males loved to strut around naked in the locker room showing their stuff and would laugh at the “less mature” kids who would always leave their underwear on the entire time. Big difference between how males and females look at this issue when they are teens, based on their level of physical development and whether they are jocks or not.

We once referred to homosexuals as perverts - how'd that turn out for us?

Perversion is so commonplace today it barely gets notice.

You will have to tie this tighter to the safety of children to gain any traction.

We didn’t have a shower at home, only a bathtub with water from our cistern which my mom heated on the stove. Everyone used the same water. I was the youngest so always bathed last. Kids today would never survive but it was normal for us.
