News of the president’s forthcoming directive requiring educators to let students use bathrooms according to their gender identity — not their birth certificate — offered a welcome set of guidelines to some school administrators Thursday night about how they ought to proceed amidst the ongoing legal and cultural bathroom battle embroiling the nation.
As Obama’s time in the White House ticks away, the president wants his administration to leave a legacy of social reform, especially when it comes to issues like same-sex marriage, immigration, healthcare, clean air and climate change. Because Congress is under Republican control, Obama has mostly had to blaze this trail on his own. While doing so, however, the administration has in many ways left in its wake a mess of court and cultural battles that will likely wind up in the lap of the next president.

The schools will all know this edict is going to end promptly on January 20, 2017.
He wants civil war and if it doesn’t come by the time he is done, it will then come during the new administration. All pressure now put on the people will then be applied to the new president, presuming it will be a Republican. Riots will be to come even before they are sworn in.

You are right. Interesting that it’s just public schools and businesses - none of which his family uses. Would suspect that most the children of younger Congressmen also attend private schools - more of the for thee but not me mentality.
First of all, from a strictly legal standpoint, what is a transgender person? Is it simply a dude who dresses like a girl? Or, is it anyone who says they are a girl regardless of how they dress? Or is it someone who’s chopped off their body parts? This is the biggest weakness in the federal governments directive...transgender is not legally defined. This definition can come out of Congress, but they have chosen not to define it it as of now, therefore the President has zero legal basis to make this decree....from on high. He’s not a King.
Secondly, whenever you here anyone of the opposite sex argue for males to have access to females locker rooms, bathrooms, showers, etc (and visa versa)....follow them into the restroom when you get a chance. It’s what they are advocating for, so let them have it their way.
Thirdly, if we do lose this case. We then push to give the left total victory...and start advocating for one soccer team, one golf team, and one basketball team at high schools and colleges. Since gender is not an issue in the eye’s of the left....even in the bathrooms, then let’s make it a non-issue for everything!!
Geeze, Obama is just a disaster. We’ve got all these problems with the budget, the borders, the economy, and he’s choosing to focus on so-called transgender students...really?

Minds shut down and don’t function as God Designed-—pathways destroyed in young children when they look at screens. Steve Jobs never allowed his children to use computers in “schools”-—as Waldorf schools until AFTER AGE !3-—so the kids are learning to maximize brainpower-—autonomy-—practicing THINKING FOR THEMSELVES-—think Davy Crockett or Abe Lincoln-—never stepped foot in an indoctrination system or was removed from REAL LIFE INTERACTIONS and mastering REAL LIFE experiences which is what creates REAL self-esteem!.

Uh, I was referring to Trump(not Obammy) being all in on this transgender/restroom mess. Someone said Trump would change it with an executive order but he is in favor of the freaks in our daughters toilet.
