As I predicted. Go along get along. That’s what they do. Cowards with no real convictions beyond hanging on to power and stuffing their own pockets with public cash.

Remember the glare and the finger(I think?) of Obama towards Ryan? He’s probably glad that he can have a conversation with an engaging and interested individual in Trump rather than a communist automaton. The more that Trump is revealed to be a nice guy, the better, because Hillary does not come off as a nice person.

Did Ryan just have a learning moment, where he had a vision of himself with a cardboard sign, under a viaduct...?

They do indeed. Cause they are agents of change!

Ryan is one of those with such potential, but he’s shown nothing since getting the VP nod. He did a great job on 2011 and 12 presenting a course of action. Then we went AWOL and sucked into the DC blob.

I think Ryan spent too much time around Mitt Romney during the 2012 election and caught a terminal case of RINOitis, that was the point when he seemed to go from a pretty reliable conservative to just another mushy, inside the beltway RINO.

The problem I fear, is that Paul Ryan is not a nice guy, but an ego-driven backstabber of the first order!

My bet it’s Rooney/Bush financiers.”

You are close! Let’s name names.

I wrote on another thread....

Trump isn't very good at a podium

But seat him at a table for a discussion...and he owns it.

To see Trump owning it, see Trump testifying (helping) before Congress and the interview with Oprah.

These are in the '80s IIRC.

Earlier in the week, a freeper posted something different with charts showing that Ryan’s district voted for Trump in the primary. Oh, well. Hope springs eternal!

So say the vast majority of people who have actually met him, as has been widely reported for many years.

Private Ryan is displaying his ignorance.

My my my aren’t we cynical

I prefer to see this as Trump “hath charms to soothe the savage beast”

Now if he gives Paulie a lift home on Trump 1, maybe the bromance will grow

We all had better care what Ryan and other DC Republicans think.

Come November, we will need every vote. To get every vote, we will need the support of every influencer. Ryan may not be big with the Hard Core Right, but he brings votes from the MOR, and we need those votes to ensure Hillary goes down in flames!

As Benjamin Franklin said: We must, indeed, all hang together or, most assuredly, we shall all hang separately.

r/the_donald has started a fund for his opponent and polls show a close race right now. Hence Paul trying to pull back on the non-support.

Yep. Indeed, I am cynical. I think these sharks in Washington would give the Sicilian mafia a run for their money. And they’re just as good at building bridges to nowhere!

But on this same thread someone just told me Ryan is way ahead. This is confusing, lol. I hope you’re right, needless to say.
