Palin: DJT can't capitulate.
Sarah Palin Facebook ^ | May 12, 2016 | Sarah Palin

Posted on 05/12/2016 9:22:56 AM PDT by Resettozero

Trump has a pow-wow with unsupportive GOPe House leader Paul Ryan today. Anticipate Ryan, after following crucifiers of our conservative frontrunner and all of his early supporters, to now position himself as the leader of those politico wussies to the cool kids' table.

Typical politics. Makes me ill. DJT can't capitulate.

The holier-than-thou GOPe that sees elections as merely a money-making business has stomped all over We the People for the last time. They got us into the mess we're in with their failed, capitulating agenda that's gone along with Obama's fundamental transformation of America that includes devastating debt increase, deadly open borders, failed foreign nation building, exporting jobs, dividing the country, and quashing American exceptionalism... while laughing all the way to their personal bank accounts.

Today, Trump can not cede any victorious ground to the losers who got us into the mess we're in. And he won't. He'll own the meeting like a boss. Can't wait to hear Ryan's take on it afterwards; anticipate it'll be as accurate as his infamous claims of balancing a budget... or running his Olympic-qualifying marathon.

“while laughing all the way to their personal bank accounts”

Pot meet kettle.

Trump fan since his first campaign speech, in 100+%

Would backing off of the Muslim moratorium be a deal breaker for you? Would backing off the Wall be a deal breaker?

Crawling before Ryan is insanity. He's a RINO, OMNIBUS bill, open borders, amnesty, Establishment---there's nothing conservative about him. Why does Trump NEED to "UNIFY" when all it means is unifying left wing RINO globalist positions??

Rush used to make the argument that compromising with Liberals meant you had to give up being a Conservative, at least in part.

I think he was absolutely right.

For that reason, I think you are right.

I think Trump voters would go wild and become even MORE enthusiastic and committed IF Trump walked in to Ryan and said, "Do you endorse me?" and if Ryan says no, Trump just says "You're fired."

This would also add COUNTLESS voters who lean Trump but distrust his sincerity on fighting the status-quo because the Repubs have screwed us over so many times. THIS---firing Ryan immediately---would be PROOF that Trump is going to do what he says he's going to do.

Reading online, listening to talk radio---the top political story is Trump backing off or perception that he's backing off of his tough immigration stand. That will kill him, IMHO. His supporters, like me, have used that in all of our debates, conversations and arguments with our conservative friends who are never-Trumpers.

I agree...the fact is:

RINO RYAN has done more for obuma than he ever has done for Americans...

So quite simply this:

Hillary: Screw America...

Trump: Save America...

GO.TRUMP.GO!!! ALL THE WAY TO THE OVAL OFFICE!!!

I had one plan in my life for if Hil won, and another if Trump won. Personal path and preparation plans. If Muslims still can come in, and if the southern border is still open---i need only one plan, the one i'd planned for with Hillary.

It's very possible Ryan opened the Trump conversation today with, "You know, I think JFK Jr, would have been president, but for that unfortunate accident. And he had family aboard! That's a real shame."

Ryan is not running. It's not his call.

The people support both the "temporary" moratorium on Muslims and the wall proposed by Trump.

Cruz proposed the exact same things. Except he was lawerly on the Muslim issue ....saying we should not except people from any of the Muslim countries.

And Cruz said build a wall like Israel...which is really a fence. It was on one of his websites.

I expect that on Monday next, Paul will resign as convention chair and fulfill his pledge.

But it will be too late. He will have already proved he is an a**.

Trump doesn't need him. And the next Congress will boot him to the curb.

I suspect that when Trump references working together, it isn’t to implement Ryan’s vision.

Ryan is a loser and Trump can spot one a thousand miles away.

Congress approved and funded a "wall" (I think it was, as you said, more like a fence) but it requires Congress to ACT and actually DO it. The fact that they haven't is the fault of each and every one of them IMHO.

All Trump has to do is go before the mic and discuss PAUL RYAN's OMNIBUS SPENDING BILL. They do that every year to keep from making a real budget, so that automatic increases will be locked in instead of "zero based" budgeting which is what is needed.

The Ryan OMNIBUS gave Obozo and EXTRA 2 trillion, it funded ALL the "resettlement" of Syrians, Muslims, etc. And a hundred other things Trump's supporters would despise. Ryan is the reason now that the muslim illegals are settling here (and I think it is funded until November 2017). I wish Trump would just call Ryan out. We don't NEED the RINOs. The RINOS would drive off a huge part of, and a huge reason for us who support Trump. (Thanks for letting me rant)

Trump has the bully pulpit. It SEEMS to me (just my humble opinion) that Trump could just step out to a mic and destroy Paul Ryan based on the Omnibus bill and a hundred other things Paul Ryan has GIVEN to Obama by caving. IMHO:-)

I'm not a young man. But my hopes for the future for my progeny has been so high the last 10 months or so.

Paraphrasing: it is said the Mafia never verbally threatened anyone. They would just walk up to the person and say, “How’s your wife doing?” or “That’s a nice family you’ve got”...and so the message was sent and fully understood.

Trump may be hamstrung on an absolute moratorium on Muslim immigration, but I never took his stance as absolute. His issue is vetting of immigrants from the middle east, especially those claiming to be refugees. I don't care how he frames his position, he will implement a more aggressive "protect America" policy than anybody else.

Similar for the wall. I don't care what mechanism is used to seal that border, just seal it already.

Trump is not crawling before Ryan or anybody else in the GOP/RNC. Trump has said that unification of the party isn't important, he'll continue on whether the GOP gets behind his candidacy or not.

No alarm bells going off in my head.

-- Reading online, listening to talk radio---the top political story is Trump backing off or perception that he's backing off of his tough immigration stand. --

That's caused by a mix of bombast by Trump and rank misrepresentation by the press. Trump making an exception for the mayor of London ... the mayor of London wants to immigrate to the US? I don't think so!!

It's like the press-fiction, "he's reversed and now is willing to raise taxes on the rich." All he said was that his starting point was just a starting point, and whatever tax rate Congress agreed to would probably be greater than his starting point, but still lower than today. Did he change his position? To hear the press talk, he sure did.

The same thing will happen with immigration. The rules are complex, Byzantine even, and there is also lawsuits and so on that will limit his ability to get things done.

You are wasting your time trying to change a #NeverTrumper. Do something besides politics if you enjoy being around them, and if they bring up politics, excuse yourself from the scene. They vote for whoever floats their boat, if they vote at all.
