Not to mention attacks on CHRISTIAN churches in India in support of Radical Hinduism and general intolerancce. Is this what you want for Donald Trump?

The whole point of the article is that a group of Hindus are supporting Trump - no more, no less. Their support has no bearing on the history of violent religious wars in India outside of them probably not being huge fans of islam. In that, perhaps, we can all agree.

LOL! Actually, Hitchens was on to something about Mother Theresa. The one autograph I have from him is on the front page of his Hell's Angel. I got it at Barnes & Noble after he gave a talk. He was swigging from a bottle of vodka, I remember. What a guy!

Oh, yes, totally agree. The world fell in on Hitchens’ head when he wrote that book. My mother, very Catholic, agreed with him. Mother Theresa not only took money from Baby & Papa Doc, when told of the theft of their fellow Haitians, refused to return the money. And quite ill, she used the best healthcare that the western world could provide while the sick under her care did not - not even close. Undoubtedly, she did some good in her long career but she was far from perfect. Her nuns run a mission out of Asbury Park, NJ, and they are lovely, indeed.

Yes, but the point I am respectfully and rationally trying to make is that a vast amount of Hindus in India reject the Hindu Sena group as being extemely xenophobic, lacking any real common support, a fringe party with very little support, that has been implicated and connected with acts of violence, their leader has instigated this. You can be anti Islamofascist in India without casting your lot in with extemists on the other side of the fence. Examine Gujarat Riots, Valentines Day attacks, etc. when it comes to extremism from some isolated elements of the Hindu side.

If you know human nature - that means while these guys are in the uber extreme of Hindu nationalism - that means down the line of Hindu thinking there are elements they all share and that means Trump’s appeal maybe broader based than we know because of his Muslim message.
