Dead heat: Trump, Clinton tied in 3 swing-state polls
Politico ^ | May 10,2016 | Nick Gass

Buckle up for the next six months: Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton are effectively tied in the swing states of Florida, Ohio and Pennsylvania, according to the results of a Quinnipiac University survey released Tuesday. Split along lines of gender, race and age, the presumptive Republican nominee and the likely Democratic nominee appear poised for tight battles in those states, though Democratic candidate Bernie Sanders performs better against Trump than Clinton does and is also seen more favorably by voters in all three states. No presidential candidate has won an election since 1960 without winning at least two of the three states.

Ahh, more fantasy math. Trump is ahead of election night exit polling from Romney 2012 in most demographics, Hillary is well behind Obama in every demographic, the assumption (somehow) is not only does every single undecided voter go Hillary’s way, but she also captures voters from Trump JUST to tie.

But hey, if they’re that openly cheating, they must be seriously worried.

Why isn’t Hillary! ‘tied’ in the Town Square?

It simply amazes me how organized, stalwart and lock-step the ‘Rats are. Power FIRST, Party second, Country LAST.

*SIGH*

I’m getting e-mails from the “Cruz crew” suggesting that one vote for Hillary to “save the conservative movement”. They say that “Hillary is not Sauron”, and that “it’s only four years”.

Phooey!! What if Hillary puts in all sorts of radicals in the Supreme Court? What if she makes us take all sorts of muslims and other Third Worlders into the U.S., and the muslims cause a super-9/11? What if she gets us into a nuclear war with Russia over Ukraine or Syria?

I hope that all Republicans—as well as fed-up independents and Democrats—all wake up soon, and get on the Trump Train before it’s too late!!!!

[It shouldn’t even be close...]

I don’t think it is, once you factor in the pollsters and ALL media sources make huge amounts of money during a presidential election.

They skew their predictions to keep it exciting and gain a lot of attention right up to the point when they have to show real numbers to save their miserable and lying butts.

I think Q Poll also has this as a one-point race nationally.

Trying to confirm. Bolsters my argument that this hypothetical match is tightening as is becomes clearer that this is between Trump and Clinton.

From the D side, this poll, along with what I expect will be Bernie wins in Nebraska and WV, will throw their race into disarray.

Suddenly, expect "elect-ability" to be a much bigger argument on their side.

Nope. Trump far ahead. Media has to continue the "race is so very close" farce for the next several months. So much BS.

At this point on the calandar, all of these polls are premature mental masturbation. The media has nothing to report so they fiddle with polls.

Trump's people are doing research, organizing a strategy, working with his ad agency, and Manafort is loading ammo and putting arrows in his quiver.

It's going to be a long, hot summer for The Beast.

“I thought Trump had a good lead in FL: guess not!”

Last poll out FL I saw lat week had Hillary ahead by 13%.

The real good news in this poll is the tie in PA. This is a blue state that hasn’t gone for the Republican since 1988.

If it is this close, this early in the campaign season, it is not good news for Hillary and the Dems.

I thought Trump had a good lead in FL: guess not!

We were told by every news outlet, the GOP wizards of Smart, the Hillary forces, the Cruz forces (which now are just the HIllary forces) that Trump would lose in a 50-state landslide. The only people who believed Trump would win Florida are Trump supporters, but there was not yet any polling to support that. Until today.

Which you damn well knew. Liar.

Clintoon may become a footnote in history if Putin releases her emails.

Not to worry, Putin/the Kremlin has all of these missing emails, and they will probably be available for all of us to read after Cankles becomes the Rat candidate.

Hillary’s Emails Hacked by Russia – Kremlin Deciding Whether to Release 20,000 Stolen Emails

The Gateway Pundit ^ | May 10, 2016 | Jim Hoft Posted on 5/10/2016, 6:38:13 AM by maggief

The Kremlin is debating whether to release the 20,000 emails they have hacked off of Hillary Clinton’s server.

According to a report from four days ago, beginning in 2011, the Russians began monitoring Romanian computer hacker Marcel Lazăr Lehel (aka Guccifer) after he attempted, unsuccessfully, to break into the computer system of the Russian funded RT television network.

After monitoring Guccifer, the Russians were reportedly able to record (both physically and electronically) his actions which allowed the Russian intelligence analysts, in 2013, to not only detect his breaking into the private computer of Secretary Clinton, but also break in and copy all of its contents as well.

The report notes that shortly after Russia obtained Clinton’s emails, they released a limited amount to RT TV which were published in an article in March 2013, titled Hillary Clinton’s ‘hacked’ Benghazi emails: FULL RELEASE.

Apparently no Western journalists promoted this story in 2013.

"I’m getting e-mails from the “Cruz crew” suggesting that one vote for Hillary to “save the conservative movement”. They say that “Hillary is not Sauron”, and that “it’s only four years”."

Uh, you're hearing from some crazies. While I was a Cruz supporter for many reasons, I will now vote against Shillary and for Trump. I still see Trump as an in-articulate meglo-maniac who has yet to find his 7th foot to put in his mouth. I will vote for him in the hope he continues to hire the best people for his cabinet. I doubt he has the cojones, but the 2 first things that would impress me is to rescind most of Bambi's EO's (especially his Don't Tell/Don't Ask and his un-Constitutional Dream Act). Plus fire all federal judges like Clinton did.

Like all politicians, he has claimed things he cannot do (remember Congress?) or will not do for diplomatic/political reasons (remember Reagan working with the Dims?). But if the blowhard puts real grown-ups in charge, I will have hope to restore our Republic to some semblance of its original intent.

Shillary must NOT gain the Oval Office! And, must not have the opportunity to appoint USSC justices, which the Senate always seems to ratify. This is why I will vote for Trump and not opus like so many are doing. They, especially one, have disappointed me. I can't believe they will not vote for a possibility against the most power-hungry socialist woman in our American history.

I guess you are counting on that 54% butts sitting on couch at home for free stuff crowd getting a brain and deciding to get a job and chunk the free stuff crowd? Obama was said to be behind in the 08 elections until election day when those who were going to lose the free stuff showed up to keep from losing all that free stuff. I don’t see that 54% changing their minds and voting in a republican who just might take away free stuff. Unless at least 10-15% of that bunch kicked the bucket in the past 4 years. Just an opinion.

The last time a presidential election winner failed to win at least 2 of these 3 states was 1960 when Nixon won Ohio/Florida and JFK won Pennsylvania.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_presidential_election,_1960

Dubya won the same ones in 2000/2004 with Gore/Kerry winning Pennsylvania. Nixon did the same as Dubya in 1968. LBJ swept them in 1964. Nixon swept them in 1972. Carter swept them in 1976. Reagan swept them both times in 1980 and 1984. Bush swept them in 1988. Clinton swept them in 1996 and got the other two except for Florida 1992.

Before JFK, Eisenhower swept in 52/56, Truman got Ohio/Florida in 48, FDR swept twice and won 2 of them the other 2 times, and from 1896 to 1928 the winner always got 2 or 3 of these 3 states. In 1892 Grover Cleveland won Florida but lost the other two, with his loss in Ohio by just 0.13%. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_presidential_election,_1892#Results_by_state

I’d say these 3 states (with 67 electoral votes) make an excellent bellwether for the presidential election.
