Kellyanne Conway on Paul Ryan: In 2012 He ‘Lost His Home State of Wisconsin By Almost 7 Points
Breitbart ^ | May 8,2016 | Jeff Poor

Posted on 05/08/2016 7:27:34 PM PDT by Hojczyk

Bill Bennett said this, “it’s not the time to be out there demanding all these things, trying to get Trump to suddenly become Reagan. Now is the time to surround him with good people

You said something interesting during the break. You said this is generational in the conservative movement. Explain.

CONWAY: Some of it is. You now have John McCain saying he’ll vote for Donald Trump.

TODD: Bob Dole.

CONWAY: Bob Dole, Newt Gingrich, Bill Bennett now. It is somewhat generational for them. They recognize hat it’s healthy for a party going through some growing pains to actually shed some of its skin.

But I also want to get back to Senator Flake’s interview, because I thought it was astonishing for this reason. Donald Trump just won 48 percent of the vote in the Republican primary, every single delegate in Flake’s home state of Arizona. He got 250,000 voters. And you just can’t ignore that.

I mean, his policies on immigration began in Jan Brewer’s Arizona. And so I think there’s a zeitgeist out there that some of the establishment of the Republican Party are still ignoring.

And I would say, when I think of Senator Flake, I also, who I respect enormously, I think of this whole class of 2010 that are up for re-election in the Senate in 2016 this year, they rode the Tea Party wave and now they have switched to decaf somehow. It’s like, your votes are so moderate, and if you look back…

BAI: They got into government.

CONWAY: Well, they got into government. And you look back, no, go back a year ago and look at their approval ratings and their re-elect numbers a year ago. They weren’t doing so well.

So, laying it just at the feet of Donald Trump

Try chilling a bit. My comments on this topic thus far have nothing to do with governing philosophy or candidate preferences.

I’m looking for the results in Ryan’s district - looking for the primary angle in his view.

Then I’ll look at the angle for the general election. And then whatever political angle I wish.

All I’ve found, unsourced, is Trump won Ryan’s home county, and lost his congressional district. When I combine two counties in the district I come up with Trump down about 17k total.

If someone has the stats for the final stats for WI 1st Cong Dist, please post.

My assumptions/questions here are:
- Ryan appears to be distancing himself from Trump.
- Ryan’s political future depends on winning an upcoming primary and general election.
- What is Trump’s support in Ryan’s district?
- In the GOP Primary?
- In the General Election?
- Might this be affecting Ryan’s actions now?

You need to search harder. :-)

For all of his "No, I don't really want to be preside3nt" talk, methinks Ryan was expecting to be anointed at the Convention and he's truly a child with a bad case of the TERRIBLE TWOs in an adult's body. He needs to be removed, NOW, from heading the Convention!

Call Lyin' Ryan and tell him you will be contributing and voting for Nehlen. Do not call his 800 number as his office will automatically know your number and it could get ugly. Here are his Wisconsin numbers:

Janesville office: (608) 752-4050

Kenosha office:(262) 654-1901

Racine office:(262) 637-0510

Go Nehlan!! How wonderfulll it will be when Lyin' Ryan is Cantorized. As Jackie Gleason once said: "How sweet it is!"

Called all his home numbers in Wisconsin tonight, not one would let me leave a message. Lyin’ Ryan is feeling the heat and is hiding. Go Nehlen!!!

I just tried calling Ryan, and all the mail boxes are full and not receiving messages "at this time".

I just wanted to let Paul Ryan know that I sent money to the other Paul, the guy with the dump truck, and I'm from PA.

I would bet that Nehlen has been receiving money from all over the country since Sarah Palin said on CNN, that she is opposed to Ryan.

Fill the truck with cash, Dump Ryan!!

Watch people’s actions—not their words.
Could Ryan have folded any faster than he did on the recent Omnibus spending bill? It was pathetic!
The sequester and the spending limits of 2010 were the only things that started to slow the growth, and he gave it up for expedience.

Ryan wants to run in 2016. So a Trump victory throws a wrench in his big plan.

Possible. If he doesn’t get re-elected to the house, that pretty goes away though.

I really want to know what he’s seeing in his district as far as re-election, primary and general, regarding Trump.

It makes more sense that would have a larger affect on his actions now.

Ryan has hit the hornet’s nest and his opponent Nehlen is getting money from people who would otherwise have never had any interest in Wisconsin’s 1st district.

Giving Ryan the Cantor treatment would be a major blow to the GOPe crooks who run the party.

That’s why I think his apparent distancing from Trump may say more about his upcoming election.

If distancing from Trump helps him in his district, then it would... help him in the election.
