Kellyanne Conway on Paul Ryan: In 2012 He ‘Lost His Home State of Wisconsin By Almost 7 Points
Breitbart ^ | May 8,2016 | Jeff Poor

Bill Bennett said this, “it’s not the time to be out there demanding all these things, trying to get Trump to suddenly become Reagan. Now is the time to surround him with good people

You said something interesting during the break. You said this is generational in the conservative movement. Explain.

CONWAY: Some of it is. You now have John McCain saying he’ll vote for Donald Trump.

TODD: Bob Dole.

CONWAY: Bob Dole, Newt Gingrich, Bill Bennett now. It is somewhat generational for them. They recognize hat it’s healthy for a party going through some growing pains to actually shed some of its skin.

But I also want to get back to Senator Flake’s interview, because I thought it was astonishing for this reason. Donald Trump just won 48 percent of the vote in the Republican primary, every single delegate in Flake’s home state of Arizona. He got 250,000 voters. And you just can’t ignore that.

I mean, his policies on immigration began in Jan Brewer’s Arizona. And so I think there’s a zeitgeist out there that some of the establishment of the Republican Party are still ignoring.

And I would say, when I think of Senator Flake, I also, who I respect enormously, I think of this whole class of 2010 that are up for re-election in the Senate in 2016 this year, they rode the Tea Party wave and now they have switched to decaf somehow. It’s like, your votes are so moderate, and if you look back…

BAI: They got into government.

CONWAY: Well, they got into government. And you look back, no, go back a year ago and look at their approval ratings and their re-elect numbers a year ago. They weren’t doing so well.

So, laying it just at the feet of Donald Trump

I made thousands of phone calls for Flake in 2012. I will be working for his primary opponent next time.

Holding hands, and kissing, and playing one-on-one.

Our country needs to wake up.
Do you think Donald Trump wants to give up his successful businesses just to run for president.
Answer is NO—he sees what is happening to our country, the country he loves too, he thinks he can bring us back to the great country we have loved for so long.
Think what a sacrifice he is making.
He has to be losing millions of dollars.
While he is working for our country the establishment in Washington (the ones that helped to bring us down) are doing everything they can tom stop him
The establishment (Ryan is one of them) don't think about our country except for what they can take from us to build them into big fat politicians.
WAKE UP AMERICA

Ryan is running in a primary election in a state where a majority of GOP presidential primary voters did not vote for Trump.

I knew he was a Cheap Labor Express stooge when he was in the House before he was elected to the Senate and I live in Virgina. Why didn’t Ms. Conway and the voters of AZ?

I’ve been looking for that breakdown by congressional district. Do you happen to have the results or a link?

I think the Bush family has been so colossally bad for America that America AND the Republican Party, or what is left of it, are better off that ALL the Bushes just stay home.

Saying that they won’t vote for Trump might be the most honest statement to ever come from 41, 43 and Jeb.

Another thing -

It will be very interesting to see how the Wisconsin conservative talkers respond to the Ryan-Trump battle. They all came out very strongly for Cruz and vehemently against Trump and are still bitter and pissy on the air about losing. But they also hate Ryan almost as much as they hate Trump because of his failure to take conservative positions after being elected as a tea party favorite. So now they face a Hobsons choice in choosing whether to support Trump or Ryan, although it should be clear what the smart choice should be.

I predict they will all go full-out for Nehlen against Ryan, thus aligning with Trump - just proveing again that politics makes for strange bedfellows.
