Trump slams Ryan: I didn’t inherit GOP, I won it

Presumptive GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump on Friday continued to criticize Rep. Paul Ryan, denying the Speaker’s assertion that he “inherited” the Republican Party mantle.

“Paul Ryan said that I inherited something very special, the Republican Party,” Trump tweeted. “Wrong, I didn't inherit it, I won it with millions of voters!”

Ryan on Thursday declared that he’s “not ready” to support Trump for president.

“He also inherits something very special, that's very special to a lot of us. This is the party of Lincoln and Reagan and Jack Kemp,” Ryan said at the time.

Trump responded Thursday with a terse statement: “I am not ready to support Speaker Ryan's agenda. Perhaps in the future we can work together and come to an agreement about what is best for the American people. They have been treated so badly for so long that it is about time for politicians to put them first!”

It doesn’t matter if the party is the party of Lincoln, or Ebaneezer Scrooge for that matter. ANY party is ONLY as good as the people who subscribe to it, and who finance it.

Without the people, the party is absolutely nothing, and couldn’t elect a rat to a rathole.

From the looks and sound of things, there’s a LOT of people in government who’ve forgotten their roots.

Just as I predicted early on things would work out well for Cruz.

I predict the same for Ryan.
Things will not work out well for Ryan either.

Paul Ryan has picked a fight with the wrong guy. He might as well put his house up for sale.

Ryan’s such a great conservative leader. Let’s not forget how he ran on fiscal responsibility and then proceeded to sell us all out with a budget that fully funded all of Obama’s lawlessness, and increased the size of the federal government. And to think, he was able to do all that by joining with the democrats to get their votes and pass that monstrosity. Then, broke his own promise to hold hearings on it for a set period of time and “crammed” it down our throats. If that’s “conservative”, count me out. I’d rather join the Trump train.

If Trump wins the election, and I think he will, he is going to be President, not Ryan. Ryan and the GOPe better get on the Trump train because the people want Trump now, not them.

Trump runs to be the Republican candidate and he wins enough to be the nominee his first time out. Reagan and Hillary were not able to do this their first time running but Trump did!

“Inherited”?! That’s how these elitists think. You don’t need to earn it through hard work and listening to the people. It’s just handed to you according to your willingness to play along. Be one of the boys etc. Pathetic.

Trump didn’t luck out and inherit crap. Resonating with a fed up US population is how he earned this.

Note to Paul Ryan, Lindsey Graham, Jeb Bush, Bill Kristol, Charlie Krauthammer et. al.
This is NOT and election as much as it is a paradigm changing INSURRECTION. You are the “victims” of a HOSTILE take over of your CASH COW by the working man who voted and put you there.
We will not stop until its over and you are gone. Either by un -electing you or turning you into useless political eunuch’s with NO CLOUT!

Seems to me the conflict boils down to those that buy and sell favors in the party, and those wgo subscribe to the party and may or may not make smaller contributions that don’t warrant favors.
