Comment came to mind. Decided to say nothing, and let nature take its course.

They have no one to blame but themselves for under-valuing the issues that matter to a large number of the American voters.

Hopefully this will put the “Kasich was a stooge for Trump” stuff to bed

Did it ever, EVER occur to these people that they got beat less because of what they did/didn’t do than what Trump did?

He ran what will be viewed as one of the most amazing campaigns in all political history, spent a record minimum amount of money doing it, and got a record number of primary votes.

If politicians took responsibility for what they did, there would not be very many lifers in DC.

Frankly, I don't think Cruz would have done as well as he did had Trump not been in the race. Once Trump broke the mold about how primaries are supposed to go, I think more voters decided to look outside the box and reject the chosen candidate (Jeb). Also, I think Trump emboldened some of the other republicans to atack the moderators at debates, etc. Had Trump not been in the race, I think it would have been 2012 all over again.

Carson too. He wouldn’t have lasted a week without the icebreaker Trump.

Funny how these two nothings are still trying to formulate some sort of relevance they had in this race.

There exactly two relevant forces in this race.

Donald J. Trump and the American voter.

There are no other factors.

Indiana was Tuesday, just 3 days ago.

Already Cruz seems like a distant bad memory.

Kasich’s only function was to keep Cruz from possibly winning in a contested convention. His job was done so I am sure he will be rewarded. The Republican party is a dead carcass that was murdered by Boehner, McConnell and the leadership. Their performance was exactly like the Whig Party in 1859. Perhaps the Republican Party should go the way of the Whigs. I believe that it is no longer worth trying to reform. We thought we did that when we won the house. We again thought we did when we won the Senate. We did not. I supported the Republican Party for 40 years and will no longer do that. I really can’t tell a difference between either party any longer. The definition of insanity is to keep doing the same thing over and over and expect different results.

There’s no opponent Cruz could have beaten one on one - he’d have looked and sounded the prick standing next to every one of them - even Rand Paul. There’s no opponent Kasich could have handled one on one in republican primaries - he’s a Democrat that believes in balanced budgets.

Just damn, it could be because both of them made voters want to puke!

I don’t miss them and hope they stay gone.
