maybe he was being sarcastic?
After reading the additional part about “this primary is gone” I’m thinking he might have thought it was a cute joke. He was probably feeling very good at the time about his Indiana win and Cruz’ dropping out.
Donald hasn’t said many outrageous things lately.
I think he decided it was time to make one that would hit the news.
He said it twice!
Just wow ... LOL.
Well, there is THAT.
But at his own expense?
LOL.
It’s just Trump playing mind games again. I LOVE IT.
What a silly thing to say!
He forgot the sarcasm tag.
Trump reminds me of Richard Kind. He played Lucius Lavin in Stargate Atlantis.
He had a potion that mezmorized everyone.
I believe I’m stuck in that episode.
Trump can do or say anything he wants and everybody just makes excuses.
Cannot wait to see him when he pardons the turkey at Thanksgiving and calls it a chicken
LIGHTEN UP!! You really want a candidate who only reads prepared speeches from teleprompters?
Just reading over some of the comments - looks like a few didn’t get Jim Robinson’s message yesterday to stop with the attacks. It’s over, save the resolve for Hitlery. I’m pretty ticked about my man, Gilmore, but I’ve come to terms with it.
BTW, I donated the max to Cruz before he blamed Trumped for the Chicago riots, but that cured me and I've been a Trumpster since that day.
Trump is far from perfect, but every time he says something stupid {which happens every day} only proves he is human. Give it a rest.
I think he just doesn’t have a clue.
He may yet beat himself and fail to make 1237.
I think he was trying to give WV to Cruz as a parting gift.
You make it sound like he made a mistake in what he said...
This is pretty clear
Now what I want you to do is save your vote, Trump told the crowd in Charleston, West Virginia. You know, you dont have to vote anymore. Save your vote for the general election, OK? Forget this one, the primary is gone. (link)
Either Trump has no idea how the system works by saying "save your vote" or is playing a rather stupid game to get in the news...
Either way, why confuse the people who support him?
He did tweet last night, after the rally, thanking West Virginia and telling them to go ahead and vote Tuesday after all.
I doubt anybody attending that rally planned on staying home.
Just Donald being Donald, I guess.
