Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid vows that a Democratic takeover of the Senate is fairly certain in the November elections.
Discussing the race for president, Reid said he was confident that Democratic front-runner Hillary Clinton would win the party's nomination and then the general election. He stressed her intelligence and ability to grasp the issues on a wide variety of subjects.
Reid harshly criticized Republican front-runner Donald Trump, saying that he "can't imagine how the establishment Republicans feel about somebody who’s about as far from anything that anyone believes in as Donald Trump. I can’t imagine this man being the nominee for any political party, let alone the Republican Party ... How he denigrates women and people who have handicaps."

An alternate possibility is that Trump will convince the white working class to finally leave the Democrats, and come to the side which will actually work to protect their jobs.
At which point, the Democrats will lose on a scale never before seen.

When you have an Elected Senator Ben Sasse who can not accept the Election results and trying to elect Hillary Clinton , I wrote to him that I would not be voting for Richard Burr with copy to Richard Burr if he can't support the GOP Nominee I can't support a Senator with a Conservative record in the 50's
Reid has abandoned McCain.
He has gotten all he can out of him and now McCain is going down.

As much as I detest “Dingy Harry” Reid, I think he has reason to be optimistic.
I’m sure I’m not the only one who remembers how thoroughly Mitch McTurtle and his minions in the Senate crapped all over those of us who gave them the majority and broke every promise they made during the 2012 campaign.

Actually, I agree with Reid. Current Republican majority is 54-46, and they have to defend 24 of 34 seats. It’s a Presidential election year, so turnout will favor Dems vs Reps.
