"The blueness of Hawaii"

The only things blue about Hawaii are the sky, ocean, and the Elvis movie. Otherwise, it is so RED it should have a hammer and sickle on the flag. It went to the dark side after the Marxist Revolution of '54.

It’s difficult to respond to someone who says Hawaii is a Marxist state for 62 years. Sounds like whiskey talk, so I’ll leave it alone.

Though we make great whiskey here in Tennessee, Joey, I don’t drink. Anywho, so, you’re in Hawai’i and I have to explain your own state’s political history to you ? I suggest you do some research on the 1954 Revolution. Fidel himself may not be in Honolulu, but his comrades in arms have pretty much called the shots ever since. It also has about as much business being a state as Cuba does at present.

That would be Jack. My aunt (RIP) worked at the distillery in Lynchburg, and was the
person who wrote replies to those asking about their square inch ownership in the county.

Hawaii history is rich, and I enjoy studying it. Your hyperbolic comparison of Castro with
the 442nd returnees from college turning the Territory from Republican to Democrat does
not equate, at least in any way short of literary.

Hawaii is a one party state in the way that my native Chicago is a one party county, but
sharing nothing in common with Fidel's miniature archipelago.

No hyperbole, just straight-up reality, Jack. The revolution accomplished its Socialist goals, and the joint has never gone back. Same with Chicago, although it went to the dark side well before Hawai’i did (not helped by the fact that it went from being run by a narco-terrorist regime under Republican Big Bill Thompson straight into a mobbed-up Demo-Socialist Kleptocracy beginning with Cermak without batting an eyelash).

The irony that WW2 vets spearheaded the revolution to turn Hawai’i into a Socialist state just as they had liberated Japan and Germany from fascism is truly a hoot and a half. The Soviets could not have done a better job. Who knows, maybe it was their Marxist college professors, who’ve inflicted epic-level damage to the planet in brainwashing scores into their evil ideology.

It’s bad enough they’ve spent 4 decades virtually uninterrupted sending a 4-member Communist delegation to DC, but the cherry on top, Hawai’i’s greatest contribution to America, is the scourge in the White House: the biggest Marxist-Mohammadan demagogue and revolutionary ever to occupy it (liberally distilled through the Chicago/Illinois Combine, for that extra double-dose of political amorality, 100 proof).

Perhaps Zero is Pele’s ultimate revenge against the mainland for our having stolen it 120 years ago. If only we could give it back with our sincerest apologies (but we get to keep the bases - we built that). At least then the Marxist state government would have to pay for its own gravy train for a change. That would go a long way into slapping reality upon the faces of the natives drunk on leftist fantasies.

Aloha.

he really does not have the qualifications or fitness to be our nation's next president

Any living being who utters these words and supported Obama needs serious medical attention.

“I have to make a lot of hard choices here because I certainly do not support Donald Trump and I do not want him to be our nation’s next president,” Djou said. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Thats OK, Hillery will have China annex Hawaii as they will take control the Pacific under a Hillary Clinton presidency. Thats what Djou wants. How do djou ( you?) feel about that?

Then Djou can feel right at home.

Better still, Djou needs a sharp kick in the ass all the way to Shanghai.

Djou is a psychopomp.

At times in the past Hawaii was more economically controlled by Japan than the U.S. But that ended when the Japanese Bubble collapsed in about 1992 and Japan started the “Lost Decade.” (Which Hawaii also went through.)

Eventually the U.S. rebuilt its economic presence in Hawaii, and we actually did OK through the Bush II years. But then the Democrats collapsed the American economy in 2007, in almost an exact replay of the Japanese Lost Decade, and so we have again been sucking wind the past 8 years. (Obama is making all the same mistakes the Japanese did, and the Japanese economy never really recovered and China and Korea took over much of what the Japanese once had in terms of economic advantage.) There is some surface prosperity in Hawaii, but it is mainly things like Chinese investors buying up luxury condos for cash in Kaka’ako which they’re building and selling like hotcakes, but most of them will be empty. But there is no housing for local residents, and we now have the worst homeless problem in the country, and much of Honolulu now looks like a 3d world country.

I don’t know about the Chinese buying us, but I wouldn’t mind S. Korea buying us, except I think there would be a huge culture clash. They have their act together in that country, but they don’t screw around and they don’t tolerate things not being done the way they think they should be done. Which would not work well in Hawaii, where there’s always an excuse why something shouldn’t or cannot be done, and trying to get anything achieved is a huge exercise in frustration.

"I think if you are a true sincere conservative, if you are a true sincere American, you have to be frightened by Donald Trump,” Djou said.

I think he means true sincere panty-wetting Rino.

True sincere conservatives don't get frightened.

They get pissed off.

Come on dude, this can’t be the first time you’ve seen democraps compared to communists here at FR. I’ve lived in Chicago all by life, it’s a fine comparison. Hyperbole? Sure if you’re being literal. But they’re sure close enough for me, compared to what American is supposed to be.

“442nd returnees from college turning the Territory from Republican to Democrat “

I don’t care if the morons who helped turn Hawaii’s government over to the scum were military veterans or not, DAMN them.
